I don't know about HRT but I can relate to the plummetting moods and anxiety sad. Negative blood test here too, although I have all the physical symptoms, I'm muddling through.

Hopefully someone who knows about HRT will be along soon.

You just have to try HRT and if it works, it works.

Blood tests are not reliable. Your hormones will be up and down daily, so unless you are being tested 2 x a month ( day 3 and after day 14) for several months, you aren't going to see what is going on.

ADs are not the answer for women who are short of oestrogen. There is a lot of concern amongst consultant gynaes about how ADs are being offered instead of HRT- have a look at the website of Prof John Studd and there is a lot there he has written about this.
