Bouts of severe fatigue and dizziness/vertigo

Hi,
I've recently been having 3 day bouts of severe fatigue, joint pain, sweats and dizziness/vertigo.like a viral infection but too regular.
This happens every few weeks and is so debilitating I have to take to bed and sleep and sleep day and night.
I'm 47 and I can see symptoms of peri menopause such as irregular bleeding, weight gain around my middle and mood changes.
Has anyone else suffered this and if so is there any recommended treatment, preferably supplementary to try at first? It's starting to effect my work.
