The very talented TrophyWife has just sorted out a pic for me to put on here dd2 looking cute at her Christening.....BUT....it has me on the pic as well and I am a bit apprehensive about it.

Would you put one of of yourself? Sort of takes away your anonimity (sp?) doesn't it.....

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

what about your dd's anonymity? why does your own bother you?

Kelly1978 Thu 16-Jun-05 11:37:41

yeah...go for it!

I would only stick a photo of ds on here because he will change a lot whereas I will remain more recognisable. That's my view.

Also because ds is gorgeous and I'm three stone the wrong side of curvaceous

My children have just been posted and I don't think they are very identifyable from the photo so you might not be either. No, I wouldn't post a pic of me unless my children were "hiding" me but only because I am not very photogenic.

i wouldnt, but i wouldnt post a pic of dd's either

beansmum Thu 16-Jun-05 11:40:15

are you famous beansmum?

beansmum Thu 16-Jun-05 11:42:42

Lonelymum, just that if anyone I know read any of my posts they would recognise me straight away.

nailpolish Thu 16-Jun-05 11:44:05

you ARE famous arent you how exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

beansmum Thu 16-Jun-05 11:44:20

I think I talk how I write, and I've posted where I live, my sons name, the uni I go to, what a prat ds's dad is....

Lonelymum Thu 16-Jun-05 11:44:38

Phew Beansmum! Having seen your photo earlier on today, and then read your post, I thought I had failed to recognise that you are actually someone very famous. I even went and had another quick glance at your photo to see if I could work out who you were!

beansmum Thu 16-Jun-05 11:46:09

lol! maybe I am famous, but you just never see me without makeup and designer clothes on, that's why you don't recognise me from my photo.

Chandra Thu 16-Jun-05 11:50:35

Honestly speaking, if somebody I have met is lurking in Mumsnet, sure she/he/they have worked out already who am I. I was starting to think I should make my name redundant... there has been several ocassions when I post something in Mumsnet and somebody in RL comes up with a solution/comment in less than a week

Kelly1978 Thu 16-Jun-05 11:57:16

No-one I knows even uses a PC, so I'm not worried abt anonymity, but I can't imagine y anyone wud want to see a pic of me, so I haven't yet.

oliveoil Thu 16-Jun-05 11:58:19

mmmmm, might bite the bullet then and post it. Will have a think over lunch.

xx

nutcracker Thu 16-Jun-05 11:59:13

charleepeters Thu 16-Jun-05 11:59:52

Gwenick Thu 16-Jun-05 12:00:53

I've got a picture of me and DH on here. (look awful in it but that's life

Kelly1978 Thu 16-Jun-05 12:12:21

I dont think my dp wud be happy if i posted one with him in it!

weesaidie Thu 16-Jun-05 12:23:21

I can't seem to do it anyway... whenever I go to create a new conversation in members I can't see any option to put up picture!

Plus I would sadly worry that no one would comment on it!
