Hoping to be in Cornwall from mid-August (finally). I'm an old hag (41 going on 91 lately) with a teenager and my grandson living with us, plus two adult daughters (21 and 24) who'll not be moving with us.

SEE...LOOK... I knew fishing for compliments would work . Just discovered today that two of my newest friends are 21 and 24 (the same age as my daughters) that did make me feel old.
I'm going to be based around the Camborne, Redruth, Pool area because of college (Uni or whatever). Can I get to St. Austell easily from there - not quite sure where it is.

Now I know where you mean. It'd be nice to actually meet some MNers face to face.

Does anyone every wonder what other MNers look like?

In my case, be afraid, be very afraid .

glad we're in the same boat then - as long as I can wash my hair in a morning, I'm happy.

wobblyknicks - it's great in summer and I can easily clear a beach in 40 seconds.

Now that's a skill worth having down here in summer!!!
