mum2mikey Tue 26-Jul-05 21:14:25

thats cool im sure we could arrange something. how many children do you have and what ages? and without sounding rude how old are you?

joash Tue 26-Jul-05 21:29:01

Hoping to be in Cornwall from mid-August (finally). I'm an old hag (41 going on 91 lately) with a teenager and my grandson living with us, plus two adult daughters (21 and 24) who'll not be moving with us.

wobblyknicks Tue 26-Jul-05 21:29:50

I'm 23 and have one dd aged 2. And Joash you are not an old hag!!!!

mum2mikey Tue 26-Jul-05 21:39:27

im 22 and have one ds who is 15 months. joash, wobblyknicks is right you are not an old hag.

joash Tue 26-Jul-05 21:42:29

SEE...LOOK... I knew fishing for compliments would work . Just discovered today that two of my newest friends are 21 and 24 (the same age as my daughters) that did make me feel old.
I'm going to be based around the Camborne, Redruth, Pool area because of college (Uni or whatever). Can I get to St. Austell easily from there - not quite sure where it is.

mum2mikey Tue 26-Jul-05 21:44:38

my dad works in redruth and lives in st austell. its nearly all just the a30 and takes him 30 mins.

joash Tue 26-Jul-05 21:46:19

Now I know where you mean. It'd be nice to actually meet some MNers face to face.

Does anyone every wonder what other MNers look like?

In my case, be afraid, be very afraid .

wobblyknicks Tue 26-Jul-05 21:47:30

I look like a goddess (I actually look like death warmed up but who cares)

joash Tue 26-Jul-05 21:50:07

Wobblyknicks - me too (the goddess bit) Except I was the model for the Venus of Wilendorf.

joash Tue 26-Jul-05 21:51:47

Venus of Willendorf

wobblyknicks Tue 26-Jul-05 21:52:11

PMSL!!!!

joash Tue 26-Jul-05 21:52:47

and I aint jokin!!!!

wobblyknicks Tue 26-Jul-05 21:53:26

Hope you don't go everywhere naked like that??

mum2mikey Tue 26-Jul-05 21:54:24

i cant worry about my looks. i dont have time! my ds is more vain than me!

joash Tue 26-Jul-05 21:59:15

glad we're in the same boat then - as long as I can wash my hair in a morning, I'm happy.

joash Tue 26-Jul-05 21:59:50

wobblyknicks - it's great in summer and I can easily clear a beach in 40 seconds.

wobblyknicks Tue 26-Jul-05 22:03:03

Now that's a skill worth having down here in summer!!!

joash Tue 26-Jul-05 22:05:08

Exactly!!!!! I knew that I would soon find my vocation in life .
