LOL at "Peterbuggers"!

I've got to take ds1 to his playscheme and fetch him again on Monday morning. Is there another time/day you could make it? I'm free for most of Tuesday (as long as you don't mind ds1 and ds2 coming along ).

I'd love to meet ds1 and ds2. I'll have both of mine with me too (so I'll bow to your local mummy-knowledge for the best place to meet)

Monday afternoon is great. I'm meeting a friend with her two girls (same age as mine) on Tuesday morning. I'm sure she would be happy to all meet up if that's the best for you (she lives v. near the Central Park).

Either Monday afternoon or the Tuesday morning would be good for me. Both boys love Central Park so would be thrilled about going there.

Then why don't we meet at the cafe at Central Park at 10am on Tuesday (or any time after that that suits you better - but ds2 has a feed at 10, so it makes sense to get there first!)

Yes. 10 am sounds fine to me. Will see you there.

OK, see you then. I'm off to P'boro in the morning, so won't have access to my own pc. Will get onto my brother's when I can, but won't be around as much as usual. Shall I CAT you with my mobile no.?

Yes please. I haven't got a mobile myself but it will be useful to have your number just in case something comes up before Tuesday morning.

It was good to meet up again. Ds1 and ds2 also had a brilliant time and we finally left at about 1.30pm for ds1's appointment.

I told ds1 I was proud of him for being so good today and he said "And I'm proud of you too." I asked him why and he said "Because you didn't tell me off or shout at me today!" Ooops!

Hi my friend is moving to Peterborough in September she would prefer a village with a regular bus to town - do you ladies have any recommendations? Her son is nearly 20mths. Thanks

What size village is she thinking of? Some of the smaller ones only have buses once a day or even once a week. Dh recommends Holme village or possibly somewhere a bit bigger like Yaxley or Farcet.

We both currently live in quite a large village. There are 3 churches with various halls, m & t groups, playgroup, first/middle/high schools, library, 2 take-aways, newsagents etc, four bus and hour to Norwich which is about 6 miles away, so she wants something similar but I don't think she's going to find it. They will be renting

sorry should be:- 4 buses an* hour to Norwich

Somewhere that size is probably more likely to be a small town around here. Dh suggests possibly Oundle or Sawtry.
