Hello Ei!!!!

We had a good and very relaxing hol, thank you but Ireland is sooooo expensive that we're all spent up. Nice to be back in our own beds, seems like we've been away for ages.

Hope you're feeling as bouncy as your new name!

So, which film/nite should we go for? I thought £14.95 for a film, 3 course meal and a glass of vino was quite good. PLUS it gets us out of the house ofr a few hours.

Jaamy, yay.. you're home, seems like you've been gone for ages , count me in.. I don't mind one bit which film we see, it'll be lovely to see the crowd again .

Hi Browny - yes, it seems like I've been away for an age, too!

Well, that's 3 of us. Should we make a list and vote for preference/availability?

10th Sept - He's Just Not that Into You
24th Sept - The Notebook
8th Oct - Bridget Jones' Diary
22nd Oct - Mama Mia
5th Nov - Sex and the City
17th Nov - Clueless

All are Thurs at 7.30. Sir Thomas Hotel in Liverpool (L1). 3 course Meal and glass of wine. We need a £5 deposit if we want to book.

I'm not bothered which film/date will just be glad to get out!

Ooo my DCs love the yellow sub. But were in Dublin that week.

They went to Applejacks today with their (worth her weight in gold) nan. They had a great time and said it was even better than Farmer Teds

MD - fab that you can make it. A little reward after SW.

Never mind BL.

Yep, Ei unless the HPT says otherwise next weekend I shall be partaking in the odd shandy/Cheeky V...

Now, any preference for film/date.

I would prefer the 2nd half of a month and I know Nemo isn't keen around her DS' bday. I suspect some might have other plans for 5th Nov.

Anybody else have any dates that are no-nos? And WTF is "The Notebook"??????????

Should we just go for the Mama Mia night? Is 22nd Oct too close to A's birthday, Nemo?

I'm sure this must be a popular night so would like to get it booked asap.

Report
jaamy · 18/08/2009 07:37

Did I not mention the round of Bingo in the interval????

OK so we are going for the 22nd Oct. For the poor unfortunates who haven't seen mama Mia. Plus think will probably be the best atmosphere!

So far we have:

Jaamy
Nemo
Ei
Browny
MD
Andirobo
Gigglewitch

We need £5 each deposit when booking and then it will be another £10 on the night.

Off to see if I can track down SA2. Do you think she'd be up for it? Anyone else before we do the booking?...gosh am a bit excited!!
