I am moving to near Lakeside shopping centre in a few weeks (hopefully) wondering if there are any mums near by or know of any mother and toddler groups.

loulabelle222, I'm a bit confused. People answered (me for one) on your Essex thread but you never replied or seemed to want to meet. ?

Sorry Loulabelle, I am in Barking, just off the Ilford Lane, so not far at all. Bubbaloo, nice to see you too! Any news on the baby yet? God you must hate people asking you that! I hope you are well. It might be nice for the three of us to meet up in Lakeside for a coffee. My DS is 6 months old, and isn't your DS just over a year Loulabelle? Is it your first bubaloo? Once your DS (he will be a DS, I read that right didn't I?) is born, you will get a nice taster of what your first year will be like!

Oh bubbaloo, bless you. I took the raspberry leaf tea and DS was born at 37 and 6 with a 5 hour labour, so I love the stuff. Is Ilford better? The buses are a bit of a nightmare ATM, I don't drive either but am lucky enough to have the C2C here. Where could you get to Loulabelle?

hi flossam,
yes ilford's better than lakeside although im nearer to romford.havent been to ilford for about 5 years!!
as i said it would be lovely to meet up but i probably wont go out with the baby for the first few weeks and i suffer with my nerves/panic attacks so its not that straightforward for me as it takes me ages to "gear" myself up.
dh always says if i was a horse they'd have shot me by now-ha ha ha!!!

Bubbaloo, I wouldn't expect you to be rushing out with your DS as soon as he was born! You take your time and seek us out when you are ready to meet. Good luck with your birth, I'll look out for your birth announcement very soon! What day are you actually due?
