New mums in West Sussex

Hi,

Are there any new mums in West Sussex (e.g. the Chichester, Bognor, Arundel, Worthing, Petworth areas) who would like to chat and possible meet up for coffee?

I am a slightly older new mum with a three month old son, who would love to get to know other mothers in the area.

In that case we must make it happen this time - no excuses. I am free most days apart from Wednesdays at the mo so can fit in quite easily!

Have you been in the area for long - I grew up here and moved back after a short move away as missed it so much!!

I lived here for a few years because of work and missed it so much when we moved that within 3 months we'd moved back! We've been in our current house 3 years and I think we're settled in for good now! It's the best of all worlds - rural enough to be really beautiful and fantastic for the children but close enough to civilisation! I'm also pretty flexible. I'm trying to think of somewhere nice and child and baby friendly to meet up. I seem to remember Charleepeters mentioning something about this area, I wonder if she'd like to come?

The more the merrier!!

Iam mobile so can meet anywhere but kbow the Chichester area best as that is where I grew up. Can suggest some indoors and outdoors areas here but if you are a little further out am happy to meet in the middle.

Hello! Am free everyday but wednesdays. Never managed a meetup yet! IS it better to risk the weather and say meet somewhere like the cathedral green or to go for somewhere indoors?

Hello ladies,

I can't believe that after watching my posting regularly, hoping that a few local mums would respond, I was not around when they finally did!

It's great to see how determined you all are to meet up. Unfortunately, due to work, I don't think that I will be able to join you on Monday, but hope you have a great time. With any luck, you will be organising a second meet with the same efficiency!

In the meantime, I look forward to chatting to you all on MN.

Hi Janie7, I am really flexible so if the others are as well then I am sure we can rearrange to make a time suitable to you as well. If not we will just have to arrange another one asap that suits you - the more meetings the better for me at the moment!

Hi all

Don't let this one die!! What is general thought, shall we carry on with Monday and just arrange another one that Janie7 can make or shall we try and make a time we can all get there right off?

Puddytats, thank you so much for offering to rearrange the meet-up but I would hate you to have to change all your plans on my account. So, please do go ahead with your meet-up on Monday, have a great day and, hopefully, I will be able to join you all next time.
