When meeting up take sensible precautions. Meet in a public place and let others know where you are going. You can also meet mums on your local site here.

Out of all the zillions of mumsnetters in Bristol, does no-one want to meet up?

Oh, I'm not far from Bristol(bout 30mins) but I don't know it that well. I can do that week too but would need good directions smile

OrmIrian Mon 29-Jun-09 19:38:28

Well we haven't even decided on where yet! Any preferences riven? You don't drive do you? So I guess you had better decide.

OrmIrian Mon 29-Jun-09 19:38:48

Whereabout are you pat?

PatTheHammer Mon 29-Jun-09 19:41:37

Stonehouse (junction 13 of M5). I basically know my way to the zoo, @bristol, Ikea and Cribbs grin

Yus. 3rd is fine. But Ikea is a terrifying prospect! Will have a think....

PatTheHammer Tue 30-Jun-09 15:39:50

Yup, can do Angust the 3rd. Is IKEA that terrible then? Only been at the weekend and it seems quite quiet on a saturday morning. guess it could be hell on earth! I can do other destinations as could put postcode into satnav and find them, but those were really the only places that I would be confident i could get to without Satnav, always up for an adventure though!

OrmIrian Tue 30-Jun-09 15:52:22

Well atm I can't think of anywhere else in that area which is daft.

OrmIrian Tue 30-Jun-09 15:58:34

How about city farm

bratnav Tue 30-Jun-09 16:01:26

Oooh, can I come too?

Will have 2 or possibly 3 girls with me. City farm is nice and so is the cafe next to it.

OrmIrian Tue 30-Jun-09 16:04:44

Yay! Don't see why not. Glad you've been there bratnav. I went many many years ago when it was still a bit down at heel so wasn't sure what it was like nowadays.

PatTheHammer Tue 30-Jun-09 16:05:10

Looks good, and has postcode so should be able to find. Like the idea of a nice cafe smile
I have a 3yr old DD and 6mth DS BTW.

bratnav Tue 30-Jun-09 16:07:26

Well as you may know, St Werburghs is very hip and trendy now, lots of 'boho chic' types living there, so the City Farm has managed to get more funding somehow, much nicer than it was a few years ago.

bratnav Tue 30-Jun-09 16:09:36

Oh, and my DDs are 5 and 7, DSD is 5, she is the maybe attending one, depending on whether her mum will let her come smile Also I will be massively pg and probably sweating profusely grin

PatTheHammer Tue 30-Jun-09 16:12:14

Oh, congrats bratnav! Don't envy you in this heat, was pg with DD in summer'06 and it was hell. DS was born in the much more civillised month of January!
I'm the one who still looks massively pg even though I had the baby 6mths ago blush
