Well I am def up for it, suposed to be going away couple of days that week back up north but not fussed when I go and dp is on holiday from work so I can get a bit boozy stay up a bit later that night.

I have been to get my hair cut, been shopping and now I can't decide whether to go out and sit at a restaurant like Billy no mates or just go downstairs and have a beer and bring my laptop for company. What a sad life I lead.

Oh, and today is my wedding anniversary.

Can I check the date? You say July 8 (Thurs) but July 8 is a Wednesday.

Either Wed or Thurs would be OK with me, but am in London Mon and Tues that week.

oops. actually, either the Wed or the Thurs works for me too. Probably prefer Thurs. but not really fussed if someone else wants Wed.

Anyone else have a preference?

Now what time is good for everyon? I can do 7:00 onward and prefer not to have too late of a night so earlier is better for me. But, again, happy to do whatever suits others.

And, where shall we go? I have heard cafe 52
is good but haven't been thre myself.

Or there is Rustico which looks nice from the outside but again I haven't set foot in the place so can't say for sure.

Any of you locals have any ideas?

Nope Thursday is better for me so i'm fine with that. I've never been in any f thos places either but i'm liking the offer in the foyer. {cheapskate emoticon anyone??]

I just thought I would jump on this thread too. I used to live in Aberdeen (moved further out just over a year ago), so getting into Aberbeen is a bit of a mission for me now.
I would liked to have joined you all for a drink and meal, but won't be able to make the 9th.

Just to give you another option for a meal musa is great IMO better than The Foyer, or try The stage Door.

AN you have my sympathy - I used to work in oil before becoming SAHM, and it's hard work sstaying in hotels all the time. Sounds like ffun at first, but quickly becomes very tiring and a bit lonely.

Anyway - enjoy yourselves. Hope you all have a nice time
