Help! Alone in Southfields with new baby and toddler!

Hi there, just wondering if anyone knows of any baby and toddler groups in the Wimbledon/Southfields area. I have a 23month old and a 5-week old baby and all my friends from first time around have moved away. This was ok when I was working but now, as I'm not going back I'm finding myself all alone and climbing the walls. Finding it pretty tough with a demanding toddler and a new born. Any suggestions gratefully received! Thanks.

There's a M&T group at St Mary's church in Wimbledon, Mondays 9.30-11.30 am. Also on Mondays at St Mark's church in W'don, 1.30-3.30 pm. I have a 6 week old DD so I'm just starting to find out about these groups too. I live in Wimbledon and also have a 5 year old DS.

A few of us from MN are trying to get together on Thursday 28th at 10 am in Debenhams cafe in Centre Court. Keep in touch.

Thanks so much lockets and Cristina7 for your replies. And congratulations on your week old's arrival!! Could you tell me when the m and t group in St Barnabus is? Can I just attend or do I need to put my name down Toddler goes to nursery Monday morning so would miss the St Mary's group.
I'm definitely up for the meeting at Centre Court on 28th!

My 5-week old is a girl and toddler a boy (sorry haven't got to grips with abbreviations yet!) St Barnabus sounds great - I'm going up to Yorkshire this week (to get a helping hand from my mother-in-law, although she drives me mad at the same time as helping!!) but I'd love to give it a try next week? Are you going then? Would be great to meet there if you are?
Centre Court idea sounds great too.

Hi all and congrats for you babies!!!

I'm off to pick up dd1 from nursery in a minute, but when I come back I'll post a list with m&t groups around. Just for starters though, I find the ones in the YMCA quite good, and the one in Center Court always empty. It's just a creche which they open up during m&t hours and you can let your kids play (sort of like being at home). Wasn't really impressed by it, although I guess it would be ok if you were meeting friends there...
