Hi, I'm a first time mum of 13 months old daughter and recently moved into Wimbledon area. I'm originally from Japan but lived in San Francisco bay area for 10 years before coming to London. I'm still in the process of settling into the life here! If you happen to find yourself in a similar situation, please contact me!
I moved in Wimbledon about a year ago and only just now I feel like I'm getting more to grips with what's around!!! (I'm also foreign by the way - maybe that has something to do with it?). I have 2 dds, 2y4months and 14 months and am a SAHM...
Hi oatcake and cas73! The mums dont have to be foreign at all! I would love to meet local mums, of course! I just thought we could support each other as new-comer mums. Being a SAHM can be isolating enough on its own. Im also curious about how they are raising their kids to be bi-lingual.
How about the Debenhams cafe in the Center Court shopping center? It's nothing great, but it means I can leave dd1 to run around the toys and can have a quite cup of coffee (dd2 permitting of course!!!)
i am also not English, so a foreigner???? i don't feel like one, as i have been here for so many years. I live in Wandsworth, i moved here about 4 months ago, so i would love to join you for that coffee, if ok, as i go to Wimbledon a lot. Is it going to be the 25th?????
