Mums in Battersea

Hi

I'm a Battersea Mum looking to meet other mums in the area and so I thought what better way to do it than to make up a website Mums in Battersea is a website that will have details of activities available in Battersea as I myself have found it difficult to find acivities that I can do with my daughter, there is also a forum so that we can all chat and arrange to meet. We're still working on it at the moment but the forum is up and running so if any mums based in Battersea want to join up that would be great.

Sorry, i was feeling a bit naughty. i actually had a look at your page and think is a fantastic idea, i live in Wandswoth and loooove going to Battersea park, so if you forgive me for my silly comment i might come and join you, all i need is to find my digital camera in order to send that picture!

No problem, yes please do join, the forum is not just intended for Battersea people but anyone that can really access the amenities in Battersea. I go to these mother and toddler groups where all the parents sit away from each other and just though something needs to be done about this, hence the website You don't need a pic to join BTW, you just need a pic to access the meeting page (security is a must I think)

i had a look at your site yesterday and took down the number for sure start, gave them a call. Unfortunately, you have to live in SW11 in order to join . but don't despair, i'll keep an eye on M i B, hope you've had lots of visitors!

I know, it's a shame that they don't cover a larger area but they are in quite a small building and so I guess they wouldn't be able to accommodate everyone. There are sure start's in other areas though, maybe your health visitor could give you more information if there is one.

We have been having quite a few visitors and the members on the forum are slowly growing. I've had a lot of positive feedback so that's wonderful, another mum has offered to help me take around some flyers to the local parent groups and another member has told her baby massage group about the website so we should hopefully have a nice amount of members by summer, all we need then is some nice weather to meet up in

Hello there! I'm due to move into the neighborhood (SW11) next week & would love to be in touch with fellow mums. Currently in SW7 and have a 2.5 yo girl and 4 yo boy that won't be in nursery til April at the earliest. I tried to click on your link, but it seems the site is down. Yay! Moved from w10 to sw11 in december. 23 month old DD. sahm! Need to meet mums with little ones. This is exactly what i am looking for!

I usually take DD swimming, eat play love, battersea park (yet to try 1 o'clock club!) also northcote road (thats more for me!) also have seen a few toddler groups that i am yet to try out. Would be keen to meet some local people with little ones.
