I expect they do pub type food non?
and please are there any sports scheduled for that weekend?

Kewcumber Tue 08-Jul-08 13:29:00

I'll check (about sports) - have eaten there once before - quite pleasant basic food - burgery kind of thing (haven;t checked what their veggie options are like though)

SushiMummy Tue 08-Jul-08 13:31:39

me, me, me! And it's just around the corner from me!smile

sfxmum Tue 08-Jul-08 13:37:46

yes it is easy to get home thankfully, but I would rather not have a sporty rowdy crowd around watching some match sorry for being picky

Kewcumber Tue 08-Jul-08 13:39:52

I quite fancy rubbing shoulders with a few rugby players! But agree there probably needs to be room to sit and talk - unlikely if football or something is on.

MaryAnnSingleton Tue 08-Jul-08 13:43:05

is Ma Cuisine still in Kew ? that's v nice...sadly I don't live in W London any more...

ComeOVeneer Tue 08-Jul-08 13:49:20

Count me in. I have no babysitting worries for a change as dh is taking a few days of work that week and taking the children to stay at his parents' house so I have 4 days all to myself grin

sfxmum Tue 08-Jul-08 14:08:52

MAS did you move to the sticks and are living the dream?grin
very attractive proposition but I would miss this lot

MaryAnnSingleton Tue 08-Jul-08 14:10:56

yep, we moved out,not quite to the sticks but to a country market town,so bit of civilisation and nice countryside, but at times I miss W London and being able to pop over the bridge to Kew which is where I grew up !

MaryAnnSingleton Tue 08-Jul-08 14:11:30

are you in Kew or nearby ? we were in Brentford

sfxmum Tue 08-Jul-08 14:15:24

I am quite like it here despite tiny flat, plenty of green open spaces.

I often dream of a Somerset farm house but clearly only after a lottery wingrin

Kewcumber Tue 08-Jul-08 14:20:00
