Hi charlotte . I'll start the ball rolling with dates - I'm off work for the week of the 28 July so can do any day that week, any takers?

Also venue - I think a few of us are on public transport (me included) so needs to be fairly central. Maybe Brandon Hill in Clifton (has swings), or there is always the Downs.

So over to you...

I'm on holiday that week - back on 3rd August.

Doesn't have to be that week, we can do week after if better? - usually I work Tues & Thurs but other days fine.

hello...

do you all have big (ie walking, talking...) children?

my ds is nearly 6 months and I'd love to know some more people in brizzle (have only lived here 15 years ) but we may be fairly shite company...

actually he is dazzling and charming, if a bit on the dribbly side. His mother, however, is a bit of a gibbering idiot these days...

am also very good at not actually getting to planned events at the moment! but would like to try...

so who are all the Bristol Muvvers? hello to you all from me n babypudding xx

Hi chunkypudding - DS is nearly 2, so walking (a lot) and talking (a bit). Others are various ages - charlotte has a tiny baby. You'd be v welcome

I did my first MN meet-up when DS was about 6 months, much easier to eat cake when they're happy to be on your lap or strapped into the buggy .

There's a few Bristol people around as well as those already on the thread - PussinJimmyChoos, TheArmadillo, riven, DixiePixie... pg brain has run out of other names, sorry.

My DS is 2.3 and walking and talking as well - definitely easier with a small baby than with a toddler with very strong opinions!

riven didn't know you were a Bristol girl

Afraid I'm nowhere near Staple Hill and have no car at the mo - I could do St Werburghs Farm sometime though?
