is there anyone in the Harrogate/North Yorks area out there? I've been through the postings and cant find anyone but heres hoping!!

Sorry HarrogateMum,

I shipped out June 2000, having spent 10 good years in HG2

If I could only have back the money I spent in the Tannin Level and Headleys etc. etc. I would own my own house

never mind...maybe there will be some other NYMums out there!! I had forgotten about Hedleys may just have to partake again...if I can get a babysitter!

there is a mum on here with nickname 'novacane' who is from hgte too - she has a young son (cant remember his age) so it mite be worth CATing her!

Hi msann - I lived in Bilton for years until I went off to uni - now living in Pannal with husband and two baby twin sons born on 13th Nov 2004

so u have your hands full then?!

im a glutton 4 punishment..i have the two girls & work 3 days a week...& am doing open uni course...on top of that im broody! (only thing thats stopping me is that im with a relatively new partner (1yr) !)

lets see how close to home u were....im from St Johns area..

lived on Tennyson Avenue..my parents only moved away from there in 1999. I'm a bit older than you though - 32 and definitely got my hands full!

I am a harrogate mum. I have a ds age 3. I love the tannin level (it is responsible for at least some of my chins).I'm 32 and I live near St Aidens.

i have ds age 3 and dd age 2 and live in jennyfields area. do any of you know of any good places to take kids. somebody told me about the time machine but appart from that not too sure

Hi azza I live in Jennyfields. There is a fab Mother & Toddler group at tyhe Evangelical Church on a Tues afternoon, and soft play at the local community centre on a Friday Morning.

Time Machine is good but quite expensive. There's also Winkies in Starbeck.

yeah had heard time machine quite expensive. trouble is my ds goes to nursery on a morning and my dd about to start playschool after half term though only 2 mornings a week. never heard of winkies whats that?

Winkies is an indoor play area in Star Beck. Ball Pool/bouncy castle/ride on cars and tractors etc.

God no - I'm as athiest as theyv come It's just really lovly - they do arts and crafts, play doh, singing etc.

maybe i will check out the church is it open next week or closed for hols? can i take a 3 yr old or is it just for dinkies?
