Soooo, am I bunny-no-mates or are we going to meet?

Yes, I'm up for a meetup, can't let you be bunny-no-mates ! Amynnixmum wants to come as well, I'll direct her towards this and Starry might want to.

I'd love to come as well - met you very briefly bunny at poole park cafe but had to leave early to sort out washing machine parts!

I am restricted daytimes with school pick ups and nursery but I shall try my best

Hi Starry Sorry you are having problems with your ds - I am going through similar with mine .

Ok, where/when shall we all meet? Some suggestions :

  1. Morning time 10 -11 ish while ds is at school (anywhere selling cakes will do)
  2. Afternoon /weekend with ds and other children (Poole Park? Moores Valley?)
  3. Evening without ds and with glass of wine, possible pizza.

I think Jodee will up for it too so hopefully there might be a few of us

Cakes, wine, pizza Bunny ? Did I not see you on one of the slimming threads ? I am very keen on the without children bit personally but could do the others.

Would prefer evening out but don't mind afternoons either as long as it involves sitting down and eating cakes

suzywong · 22/01/2005 09:41

hello Delgirl , Haven't bumped in to you for ages - in fact I think it was 6 months ago, How's your bump?

starry · 22/01/2005 10:53

My first choice would probably be without kids weekday evening or moores valley is good also. I have very active ds's who don't mix well with small coffee shops and hot drinks

Report
starry · 22/01/2005 10:56

I believe you can get a low fat, low cal diet pizza from Pizzaland now - but what's the point in that?!

Report
amynnixmum · 22/01/2005 17:15

I'd love to come - evening without kids (and with wine) would be best for me.

bunny2 · 22/01/2005 17:33

brilliant!! a night out

Kp, ssshhhh!!! They dont know I am dieting here, thought I could get away with it!

Bournemouth town centre is a good place to meet in the evening- loads of bars and places to eat. Starry, can you get there from Poole? Amynnixmum, where are you? Does anyone have a preference re which evening - I can do most as I harldy ever go out after dark - how sad is that?!?

Also, as half-term is conig up I thought a day a trip to Moores Valley would be good. my ds half-term is 14 -18 Feb I think. Jessicasmummy and everyone else, are you interested?

Bournemouth Town Centre is fine for me although I will have to pick someone up on the way so they can give me directions ! I can do Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. In half term I can do any day apart from the Friday. Maybe we should do a separate Moors Valley thread just incase anyone from further afield wants to come as it's half term ?

Bunny-no-mates? - not on your nelly!

Think you can safely say I'm a "yes". Can only do evenings or weekends now, but Moors Valley/night out, don't mind!!!

How's that bump doing, Delgirl?

Will email Mandajane, she was on the other Dorset meetup thread, to see if she is interested.

Hi Bunny2. I'm lurking.

I'll drive and pick up as many people as I can get in the car. Given that there might be a few sore heads the next morning, what about a Friday night ? Where has Merlin vanished ?
