I've just seen the Brighton piss-up thread and thought - oooo, that'd be nice.

Anyone else fancy meeting up in Birmingham for a meal/drink/whatever one evening?

I'll happily organise, so now we need dates. We could go for August/September time or earlier.

Any takers?

I'd be up for it... i'm a Warwickshire lass so not far to B'ham smile

LilRedWG Wed 21-May-08 20:13:47

Cool - I'm in Worcestershire, so not so far for me either.

I would! I'm in Sutton Coldfield so Brum is great for me.

I live City Centre, so drinking in Birmingham is fine by me.

If anyone fancies a night or day out in the meantime, a little less informal, could be fun?

tootiredtothink Sat 31-May-08 22:56:29

In for a penny........

Put me down for that too Tink.

If it's a day out I would have my dcs with me though - although we could follow on from thread about tea parties and have a picnic in the park?????? Mind you, it doesn't seem quite so nice when i think of my ds jumping all over me - that, and i don't actually like tea grin

What type of thing were you thinking of?

<<getting excited now>>

tootiredtothink Sat 31-May-08 22:59:21

tea party

TinkerbellesMum Sun 01-Jun-08 00:05:59

I was thinking of a DC thing. Maybe Cannon Hill/ Hickory Dickory type things dependent on weather.

tootiredtothink Sun 01-Jun-08 09:06:47

I am only 10 mins away from both so no problem for me. I shall await further instruction!! grin

TinkerbellesMum Sun 01-Jun-08 22:11:46

Anyone else?

I'm not too far from them, would be closer if I could drive but they're easily accessible from here. Cannon Hill and the Nature Centre would be nice if we can get the weather for it. Maybe we should choose a day and if it's nice we go to Cannon Hill and if it's not we go to Hickory Dickory (or something like it).

glam wabbit!!!

Have we got any dates firmed up at all yet... I've not yet 'booked' time with dp to go on hols but anticipate Aug sometime and will be at Uni residential at the end of Aug.

I'd love to do a daytime something but new business and being behind with my uni work are going to keep me tied up for a while.

TillyScoutsmum Mon 02-Jun-08 14:04:27

Count me in - either drinks without dc or picnic type thing with... I'm away from 6th September but nothing much on in August at the mo

wabbit Mon 02-Jun-08 14:05:52

Who's on the list then?

Any More Birmingham Mners ? ? ?

wabbit Mon 02-Jun-08 14:07:29

Update then

cyteen Mon 02-Jun-08 14:07:32

Might have my hands full in August/September (DS1 due on the bank holiday grin) but count me in for the next one
