Well..,decided to do it Kayleigh.. have started another meetup thread when I swore I wouldn't... hopefully I won't have to change my name back to LMScatterbrain again...

Roll up roll up.. new meetup.. Fri 4th or 11th of Feb 12pm at Topsy Turvy at Brent Cross.

Apparently it's £3.50 off-peak (9:30-3:30) and £4.95 after 3:30, so I think a 12:00 meetup would be good. They say it's 45min slots but noone has told us to leave after that time (we've been twice). Who's up for it and which is your preferred date?

Ixel, it's at the back of the car multi-story carpark in the middle. Eg. come out either by Waitrose, New Look, or the food area (I think) and walk straight through the car park can come out the other side. It's a big square blue building by the coach carpark (plus lots of cars with car seats!). Hope that make sense. We could always meet at New Look (or wherever) and walk to it together...

Hey, I can prob come! Miracle! Either is ok, as it all depends on the house move (sorry to mention it yet again!). Think we're prob about a month away if we're lucky, so perhaps 4th would be safer. Would love to meet you and walk over. Have no sense of direction. Will keep checking here!

my son will be at school on the 4th and , hopefully, we will be in Dubai on the 11th, so if it is on the 4th, can I come along and say hello even if I come unaccompanied?

I can come on either day.

sis, where do you live? If you are in St Albans area you could travel with me if you want.

Kayleigh has texted me to post for her as she is without a computer till Monday.

She says she has made a mistake with her dates. She can come on the 11th, but not on the 4th.

Anorak, that would have been lovely but I live in north west London - about a ten-fifteen minute drive from Brent Cross.

It looks like sis and kayleigh have the conflict... are you both able to come to the evening meetup on the 27th? If yes, pls decide between you who will forfeit the day meetup Maybe we should do the 11th if Kayleigh's ds is coming and we can catch up with sis on the 27th?

Yes, Karen please pick the date that most people can attend - I am happy to bow out and see you all at another time. Not sure about the 27th - will check the details and get back to you, it is the fear of driving that keeps me away from some meet-ups - I can't cadge lifts off you indefinately without to giving a lift once in a while!

Ok, it actually looks like most people are up for the 4th. MammaV might be away on the 11th now and with Ixel not sure about moving dates the 4th might be the safer bet. Melsy, is that ok for you? As we haven't heard from Kayleigh about her ds I'm going to have to make an executive decision!..... the 4th it is (sorry Kayleigh!! )

So Friday 4th Feb at Topsy Turvy 12pm.

[Ixel I will CAT you with my mobile so we can meetup beforehand]

Boo hoo

Honestly, it's fine. I'll get over it! To be honest if it means I can make one less trip in my lifetime to an indoor play area full of noisy kids it makes me very happy !!!

I would be much more upset if I missed an evening "do" . XX

4th is fine with me, although the way things are looking with the house, I'm sure the 11th would have been very safe too. Think it will be March before the big day!
We will have to skive off playschool for the day to come
Karenn99, I'll CAT you now. My email has been a dodgy recently, so dont want to risk not getting your message.
Looking forward to seeing you all.Sorry you wont be there Kayleigh, as I felt a bit safer knowing I'd met you once before!!!!

I have put it in my diary.

Good move choosing the day that Kayleigh character can't make it.
