Let's make plans and drag the others along.

What about a daytime meet up next week, with children (half term for most of us I think) maybe in a pub with beer garden/playground. I wondered about Double Locks. Or possibly Twisted Oak. On Wed or Thurs maybe.

If there's parking at the pub and it's Wednesday lunchtime ((I have help on Wednesday) I might come. Although can't guarantee we'll stay......

Bel, I have emailed you back, but I'm not sure my email makes more sense than the CAT message I sent you earlier on .

Marslady, I made your lemon drizzle cake yesterday, it's absolutely delicious!!!

Yurt1, both those suggested pubs have lots of parking. And lots of space in general.

www.doublelocks.co.uk - very pretty, very popular, right on the river.

or

www.lemonrock.com/twistedoak - big slightly run down garden, a bit out of the way, shabby but quite convenient for people coming in from the west.

Because I can't guarantee we'll stay I'll leave others to choose (we may last 2 mins )......

Oh I can't guarantee I'll stay because I have no idea what ds1 will be like - I'd happily stay - not scared of any of you (honest). DS1 may have other ideas......

It sounds as though we should go for Double Locks on Wednesday lunchtime. It can get very busy on sunny days there but it's got big grounds and lots of outdoor tables.
