Hi gscrym. I'm new to mumsnet. Moved to Clacks a year ago but have yet to meet many other mums. Have a two and a half year old DD. R newcomers welcome?

Great gscryym. I'm just a 10 min drive from Stirling. Let me know when and where. I will have to bring DD with me if that's OK.

And can I bring all the kids? (4 I'm sorry to say...) But they are all very well behaved, but can't say the same about me.....

I am in Stirling too. For a meet with sproglets can I suggest the MacRobert Centre at Stirling University? V. child friendly and lots of space.

That's a great idea Gomez (and I can lock the older ones in the computer 'den'!). When??

Miam - 4 kids - I admire you!! I am expecting my second and am already worrying about when I will get sleep . Never been to the MacRobert Centre but sounds ideal. I work mornings but can do afternoons and weekends. When can everyone make it?

Report
miam · 09/01/2005 13:45

Hi Nat . I'll be able to make it any day except a Monday.

Let me know when suits most people and I'll check my shifts. The MacBob would be great, like you say loads of space for the kiddliewinks.

Finally found you all!! I'm definitely up for this - need to find my way around Stirling now i'm new to this part of the world - I'm a Glasgow girl at heart!

Any day except Mondays suits me and afternoons would give me plenty of time to allow for getting completely lost!!

Meet ups aren't scary - just the quantity of cakes consumed. I've got a 2 yr old ds btw.

How about Thursday 20th next week, say 1.30/2pm - no reason for this date but gives everyone a bit of time to get organised. I'm good at getting lost too so will try and find out where it is before next week if it's on

Report
gscrym · 10/01/2005 16:32

I can do that as I'm dayshift the next day. Are we going for the McBob or are we going to go into Stirling itself. I don't know what getting into the McBob during Term Time is like.

Just a thought, can we exchange mobile numbers or something beforehand. That way, if anyone is running late, can't make it at short notice then we can get in touch. We can do it by CAT-ing each other.

Hello y'all. Would you believe it, but i already go to macrobert centre on thursday afternoons with a group.. so altho' it would be a good opportunity to spy on you all, can i suggest we do a different day that week? Tuesday 18th, Wed 19th or friday 21st, same time and same place?

How about tuesday 18th 1:30/2pm?

Hope you're not all a bunch of weirdos !!

Report
miam · 10/01/2005 20:27

Tuesday 18th is fine for me. And I am not weird - my illuminous yellow shell-suit and shaved head blend in anywhere.... - it may be hard for you to recognise me so I'll carry a red handbag!
