Is this an advert?

Well, that depends upon how each individual chooses to see it; i.e. as a positive or a negative.

I am a single parent myself and know how difficult it is to meet any other single parents in my area and, so I suspect, do many others. So I've done something about it. I hoped that most people would see this as an aid as, at £3 per annum, it's hardly taking advantage of anyone. In fact, the dial-up modem charges for someone to post a message on a message board every week for 52 weeks probably works out more expensive.

My hope is that the service can pay for itself and help some people along the way.

Take care

The Dragon was asking because she knows that you have to pay for any advertising on this site. You need to email [email protected] to determine whether the fees apply to you. Mumsnet will remove this thread and chase you up fpr payment to re-post about this website, if they think it's an ad.

Sorry, I should have made that clearer in my original post.

Another option is to appear as a link in the Mumsnet Webguide in return for a reciprocal link to Mumsnet on your site. Having said that, it's very difficult to judge how useful the site would be without registering.

Ah, I get the point now; sorry. The way I found Mumsnet was by looking for sites to establish reciprocal links with so I had every intention of doing that; I hope I haven't 'shot myself in the foot'!

It was just when I saw this forum, it sounded like just the place to let any single mums know about it.

Hi, I'm a single parent new to the Newark area and juggling work and a five year old. Can anyone tell me if this network works or if they have any links in my area?
