I'd be able to come if DH can come - but he won't let me meet people off the internet without him - he's ultra careful of me

DissLocated Sat 08-Jan-05 15:04:42

he'll be company for romantick!

KatieMac Sat 08-Jan-05 15:48:52

You don't mind?
He thought he wouldn't be welcome

DissLocated Sat 08-Jan-05 19:20:14

tbh, if you'd said that a few days ago I would have thought it was a bit over cautious. But after recent events on here I now think I used to be a bit naive (sp?) and it's a very sensible thing to do.

Mind you, might have to bring my dp incase you and your dh decide you want to chloroform me and bundle me into your car!

romantick Sat 08-Jan-05 21:28:20

so when and where is this night out .

louee Fri 14-Jan-05 09:35:58

ok need to add my computer is very temporary in working....AAARRRGGGHHH!!! ok thats better well since ive not been on a few more responses.
Sure i think its a great idea for dads, husbands partners whatever to come too!!! I think it would be a great idea for us all yo meet with our kids and they can all have a good play maybe in poringland play barn or monsters in diss -somewhere like that !! what do you all think?????

louee Fri 14-Jan-05 09:37:34

Then when we've all met once we can then decide on having a night out (a time to let your hair down) lol!!!! good idea!!!!!!???????

louee Fri 14-Jan-05 19:21:39

anyone??????????

zebra Fri 14-Jan-05 19:42:06

I'm watching this thread, but I don't want to make any decisions about when or where...
I could probably make most places, including Playbarn in Poringland, esp. on a Friday... Would need notice to arrange any other day of the week.

romantick Fri 14-Jan-05 19:42:30

well be nice when it is finally organised

louee Fri 14-Jan-05 19:45:31

well hope so are you coming along then romantick?????????

romantick Fri 14-Jan-05 19:49:52

well i would come along .bringing littleun all depends on what days etc .but aprt from that i am free almost everyday.
nice wine bar in diss if adults only.
nice hot chocolate with cream in monsters diss

louee Fri 14-Jan-05 19:50:49

ok zebra notice it will be all we need is to know who is coming and what to do then we can all decide on a day and time ...what do you think??????? every day my Dd goes to nursery in the afternoon anyway so maybe a saturday??? or in the holidays???????????

louee Fri 14-Jan-05 19:52:04

yum hot chocolate sounds scrummy!!!!!!!!!!

zebra Fri 14-Jan-05 19:53:58

Half term week for me is all clear...yes, could probably do a w/end...but if I have all 3 kids I really won't chat at all, you'll see me as a fleeting zebra....

zebra Fri 14-Jan-05 19:54:27

Is there a kid friendly place to go in Diss?
