Moving to Guiseley - Leeds

I'm moving to Guiseley from London with my partner and will be up in Leeds in the next few weeks. I'm 25 with 2 boys aged 2 and 9 weeks. I will not know anyone or the area and would like to meet friends for myself and my boys. If anyone is interested in getting in touch - please do so.

Also if anyone knows of any good toddler groups, softplay, parks etc please do tell me about it.

Thanx

Hello! I'm not in Guiseley but Adel, close enough by to meet up, and I'm also working part-time hours over the next few weeks. I have a ds aged 2 (2 tomorrow!). We have a good few MNers in North Leeds, so let's hope we can have a nice meet-up. Best of luck with your move.

Hi there, we haven't been 'up north' for very long ourselves. I'm 26 and have 2 children aged 2 and 10mths. We're about 10 mins from Guiseley so would be happy to point you in the direction of parks etc. .

Happy Birthday Junior Trib from Junior ThisTime xxx

Hope you have had a great day together the three of you

Thank you ThisTime! Ds has had a lovely day in Harrogate, I have had 'fun' chasing him around Betty's ceaselessly for hours on end.

Which makes me think LizaM needs a Betty's trip at some point to introduce her to some of the fine Yorkshire culture (cakes) that we have to offer.

Hi LizaM...I'm another Leeds mum, with a 5 year old DS ad a three week old DD. I've been here for a couple of years, but cos i was working full time haven't met that many people myself. I'm North Leeds, but 10-15 mins around the ring road from Guiseley. There are a few other ladies I know of on my side of town as well and we were thinking about organising a Leeds meet-up. There's loads of us isn't there?

There's a Yorkshire Meet-up thread somewhere as well....trying to organise something for the first week of the holidays.

Good Luck with the move!

Hello
Just wondering if anyone knows someone looking for quality accommodation in Guiseley - I have a double to rent out in my own home for ÂŁ370.00 PCM including bills - nice quiet area & it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the train station & then 12 minutes to the center of Leeds
I look forward to hearing from you
Kind regards Chris
