Well the Brighton wedding season has finished and we need something to look forward to, so I'm proposing a Sept meet. Dates free at the moment are 12, 19 or 26 Sept. Who's in?

I'm free (so far) on all of those dates. Looking forward to it!

12th is the only one of those dates I can do.

It's my birthday weekend so I'd definitely be up for eating and drinking Grin

I forgot it was your birthday in Sept. Looks like the 12th is the best date then. Where would you like to go?

Found you, thanks for the guidance! 12th is my wedding anniversary but so is the 11th so that should be OK Grin

Not sure about 12th as I might be going to the Simple Minds gig at Hickstead.

Yes, I'll be there. How about somewhere outside to soak up the sun? The only place I can think of is the terrace at Lion and Lobster. The pub menu isn't too £££.

MABS · 27/07/2015 21:22

Outside is good idea if warmer than today!! Jamie's Italian has a nice roof terrace too :)

I'm not going to Simple Minds now but still not 100% sure I can make it-it's complicated.

MABS · 28/07/2015 10:13

Hello ladies :)

12th is in the diary!

Know we've done Pho before but will push it forward as an option - they have inside and outside seating...

Report
CobOnTheCorn · 29/07/2015 10:32

I love Pho!

Report
MABS · 29/07/2015 12:34

Didn't realise it had outside area too Smile

Report
MyGastIsFlabbered · 29/07/2015 12:42

I love Pho; I may be wrong but I didn't think the vegetarians were that impressed. Depends who's coming though as to whether that's relevant.

Though I do remember that they didn't take bookings on Saturdays (other than at Xmas) last time I arranged a meet there.

We were fine though - I think a couple of us arrived early and held the big table

you are totally right Doreen re the lack of booking now you mention it.

But I think if the veggie food isn't great we maybe should consider somewhere else Helish? Clearly Mygastisflabbered paid way more attention to the 'non meat eaters' than me! so we should thank her for that :) sorry girlies
