South (East?) London meet-up

Well, I missed the last one in Dulwich Park because of DDs (late) arrival. She's now almost 5 months so I think we are more than overdue for another one!

Any suggestion or ideas would be welcome, I would suggest waiting until after the Easter holidays as everyone seems to be busy over that time. So maybe late April/early May - revisit the park, initial meetup in the cafe, as an opening suggestion?

I'm easy with either week days or weekends, but would prefer lunchtime/early afternoons midweek as I have a 'nursery run'.

Anyone with me?

There's a meet up on 25th April at Tate Modern, see the Cheap Sunday thread, perhaps you could join us?

Thanks mammya, I saw it! Unfortunately I'm going up to Slough that day for a birthday party, so I'm going to miss it!

Anyway another London meet-up would also be a good idea! I'd be up for it anyway (diary allowing!)

I'm not around except at weekends, but I'll keep looking in to see if I can make a meet up.

Hi - I'm in Beckenham with a 6 month old and have a friend with twins of similar age in Dulwich, so a meetup at Dulwich Park sounds a good idea. I'll keep checking to see what gets arranged as am fairly new to Mumsnet. cheers.

OK, Easters over so I'm bumping this up again!

By the look of it this one could do with being a weekend one, which is fine by me.

Definitely up for a meet-up as long as I can get there. Don't have my drivers licence yet. We're near Bromley and anywhere in Central London would work too. Don't plan a venue just to accomodate me though! If I miss this one I'll catch the next one.

I'd like to join you if that's possible? I'm in SE London, near to Bermondsey, can get to East Dulwich I think but not sure where the park is. Weekends are good for me. And weekdays except Weds and Fri.

How old roughly are the kiddies involved? My dd's 18 months.

Evita, depending on when we do it I'll have 3 aged 6, nearly 4 and 5 mths. I think it will be a real mix. Blu and MI's are younger. When I get a moment I'll link a map in.

Nice one Lydialemon. Sounds like a weekend, doesn't it?
South Londoners, there is an NCT nearly new sale at the church near Sainsbury's opp Streatham Common on 24th April, 11 a.m (so i can't meet then)
and a show for 2-4 year olds at polka theatre, Wimbledon, 12.30 on 1st may (so I can't meet then, either!)

A picnic in Dulwich Park, Sun 2nd May?

lydialemon · 16/04/2004 18:07

The 2nd sounds good to me!

Blu, that NCT sale is next to the sainsburys I work in, 10 minutes from my flat and I didn't realise there was one! I think I spend too long in my car.....I never notice 'notices' IYSWIM. I might be forced to drag myself up there.

I'd love to join you. I've so nearly come to meet ups before, then gone all bashful - what a loon! Looking forward to it.
