I can spell Newcastle.

StealthPomBear Sat 13-Nov-10 08:02:15

hi...what's this about?

Indith Sat 13-Nov-10 08:10:24

because LA said yes to a cuppa with you and northumberland. Then I spotted the thread and waded in grin. Actually I PMed.

Anyway, the cafe in John Lewis has been suggested

StealthPomBear Sat 13-Nov-10 08:12:46

oh did she, brilliant
haven't got any PMs, wonder if my red spot's stopped working

Indith Sat 13-Nov-10 08:17:09

No no I didn't PM you, I PMed Amy the prodded you on the other thread. I've linked this into the main AMy thread so hopefully the other local people will come over too.

Sorry, no sleep, explanations not very good. I'm off to have a shower.

StealthPomBear Sat 13-Nov-10 08:18:49

oh no

duckymum Sat 13-Nov-10 11:16:48

Can I come too?
I'm more of a lurker than poster on Mumsnet most of the time, but I do spend a lot of time and money in JL (or Bainbridges, as I still say half the time)

StealthPomBear Sat 13-Nov-10 12:20:12

of course duckymum
anyone else thinking name tags might be in order?
when are we having this?

StealthPomBear Sat 13-Nov-10 12:38:05

And we should certainly all turn up carrying a pack of pombears, just so we know who we all are

LittleAmy Sat 13-Nov-10 13:45:33

lol Bainbridges. My mum says that.

Chocaholica Sat 13-Nov-10 14:14:31

Can I come? I should have shares in there, too.

And even my toddler DD likes being there as she likes the toys area...

duckymum Sat 13-Nov-10 17:02:19

Gah, why did I confess that, have shown up my advanced age now!

Are we bringing toddlers? If not can we arrange for one of DD's nursery days (Mon / Fri). Otherwise we will have to bribe with cake to get her sit still.

Well done Indith for starting a thread !

I can do Fridays, child free and work Mon - Thurs. Am happy to do weekends, but will have DS (7) in tow.

Indith Sun 14-Nov-10 16:29:59

Could we do a Sunday? Am contemplating cheap parking and making many hints to dh about christmas shopping while I take the dcs for cake. This may avoid his usual last min dash to the chinese food shop/market and me faking delight at unwrapping jars of curry paste as my christmas present.

duckymum Sun 14-Nov-10 19:57:14

Sundays could be OK - Added potential to leave unruly toddler at home with Daddy!

Northumberlandlass Mon 15-Nov-10 12:31:53

Yes, can do a Sunday.

This seems to have stalled a bit. Is anyone still interested? Or do we save it for another time?

(Shame, as I am on Maternity Leave and in need of adult conversation occasionally)

Indith Tue 23-Nov-10 08:42:47

I'm still here!

duckymum Tue 23-Nov-10 08:54:16

Just you and me then Indith! - unless you can rally the troops - I know no-one due to being painfully shy and only lurking most of the time

Indith Wed 24-Nov-10 08:39:40

has gone a touch quiet! Have just seen another thread by Amy. Hope she comes back over, we can fix a date and prod the others to come along.

Ledkr Mon 02-Nov-15 08:12:48

Why is this in active threads?
Have I travelledbscj in time?
