We've had a request for case study participants from Denis Campbell at the Guardian.

Denis is writing an article about tongue tie following a story about a woman who gave birth at St Mary's maternity hospital in Manchester last week and whose baby turned out to have tongue-tie. She assumed that it would be fixed right away, but was amazed to be told that there is a six-week waiting-time for the procedure. She is now going to get it done privately as the last thing she wants is six weeks of failing to get her baby to feed.

Denis is looking to speak to parents in Manchester, or elsewhere, who have had to wait a long time for this procedure.

If you'd like to share your experience with Denis or have any questions about the article, please contact direct.

We at MNHQ don't have any further details about this and Denis won't necessarily be monitoring this thread, so if you have any questions about the article and would like to find out more please contact the journalist directly.
