We've had a request for case study participants from Susila Silva who works for the BBC world service.

She's working on a programme about adoption.

She is looking for 'contributors who have personal or professional experience of adoption, be that within their home country or internationally. We are looking to represent a wide range of experiences from the positive to the other end of the spectrum. Ideally contributors would be able to come into New Broadcasting House, London, W1A 1AA or we could arrange a recording at any local BBC studio.'

If you'd like to share your experience with Susila or have any questions about the article, please contact direct.

We at MNHQ don't have any further details about this and Susila won't necessarily be monitoring this thread, so if you have any questions about the programme and would like to find out more please contact the journalist directly.

Hello there;

Thanks for reading.

We are really are looking for a wide range of experiences but in particular:

Adoption within families

International adoptions

Islamic adoption

Adult adoption

Any non-UK based contributors would be wonderful.

Please don't hesitate to contact me either through Mumsnet or my email address.

Many thanks for your time.

The other issue we would like to address is when adoptions break down.

This is obviously a highly emotive topic which we would cover sensitively and with respect to all aspects of the health and safety, including emotional health, of those involved.
