Hello,

We've had a request for case study participants from the Huffington Post. Sophie, who is writing the article, said:

'As part of our women's month (March) we are doing a longer piece on "The Key Challenges of Maternity Leave In Modern Britain". Speaking to different women about their experiences and personal journeys regarding returning to work and how they made it work for them.

What were the things they found hardest/challenging? And how did they find a solution?

E.g. A woman who perhaps didn't take the full time and went back after a couple of months because she wanted to stay on top of work.

E.g. A woman who decided to take the whole year and never checked in once.

E.g. A woman whose boss wasn't supportive but she found a way to make it work for her.

E.g. A woman who felt their job changed while they were away,

E.g. A woman who used the time to realise they wanted a different job/career path.'

If you'd like to share your experience with Huffington Post or have any questions about the article, please contact sophie.gallagher@huffingtonpost.com direct with the subject line 'Maternity Leave'.

We at MNHQ don't have any further details about this and Sophie won't necessarily be monitoring this thread, so if you have any questions about the article and would like to find out more please contact the journalist directly.

Thanks,
MNHQ
