BBC media request: cloth vs disposable nappies

Hello,

We've had a request from Penny Spiller at BBC News. She says:

"The inventor of disposable nappies, Valerie Hunter Gordon, died this week. She came up with the idea of a disposable nappy in 1947 - saying she was fed up with all the washing after her third child.

As the issue of cloth versus disposable nappies is still very much debated today, we’d like to interview some Mumsnet parents who can argue the case for each side.

If there is a parent who is in favour of one or the other, please could you ask them to ring the newsdesk on 0203 614 2500 or email penny.spiller@bbc.co.uk and david.walker@bbc.co.uk as soon as possible."

We at MNHQ don't have any further details about this, so if you're interested in contributing, or have any questions, please do contact Penny or David directly.

Thanks,
MNHQ
