We've had a request for case study participants from BBC London TV.

They're planning an item on fines issued to parents for taking their children on holiday in term-time.

They are looking for a parent or family in London, intending to take their children away during term time, despite the risk of fine.

They say: "the number of fines issued to parents in London for taking their children on holiday in term-time has doubled in two years. In 2014/15, the total cost to parents in the capital was £426,000, compared with £195,000 in 2012/13. BBC London wants to hear from parents in London who don’t mind getting a £60 fine, if it means they save money on a holiday, and are planning to take the risk."

If you'd like to share your experience with BBC London or have any questions about the article, please contact Aurelia.allen@bbc.co.uk direct, or call her on 0207 765 0935.

We at MNHQ don't have any further details about this and BBC London won't necessarily be monitoring this thread, so if you have any questions about the report please contact the journalist directly.
