Low carb, not high fat and no meat?

I lost two stones four years ago on a version of low carb, but have put it all back on and more. I want to do it again, but want to give up meat . Is this possible? I don't want to do a version of the Dukan, i.e. lots of fat and butter etc, just low calorie, lots of veg etc and cut down on carbs but not cut them out altogether. Anyone who can give me tips , I would be very grateful.

I think if you low carb without increasing your fat you will be very hungry and miserable. It's the increased fat which reduces your appetite and
makes low carbing sustainable (and tasty!) There are some people who are veggie on the low carb boot camp threads who could help you with a veggie low carb plan. I think it will involve a lot of eggs!

I've just bought the Rose Elliott low carb vegetarian cookbooks as was recommended on here. Plenty of recipes that don't involve loads of cheese/cream especially if you are happy to use Tofu and other less well known sources of protein e.g Tempeh.
