Calorie counting on LCHF?

Hello everyone,
I am new to this low carb, high fat way of eating and have started this morning after realising my weight is creeping up and up.

I have read the Bootcamp Rules but can't see whether I have to calorie count?
I am aiming to follow the 2 week strict Bootcamp from today but am feeling so hungry already.

Please can someone let me know if I have to calorie count?

FWI, so far, I have eaten:

B- 100g full fat yoghurt
L- 2 egg omelette with 100g chopped spinach, 7 olives, a stick of celery and 40g of smoked mackerel pate
S- cup of tea with milk

There will be someone along more knowledgeable but there is no calorie count on Low Carb. You will just naturally feel fuller as you eat high face and ditch the sugar.

There is a separate Low-carb BootCamp topic and a BootCamp currently underway: we're in Week 8. Come along and join us (sorry, I can't link to the thread as I'm on the app): people jump in throughout the BootCamp and there will be an ongoing support thread once we complete the 10 weeks until the next one starts.

In answer to your question, no you don't need to calorie count as long as you are following the rules.

If you're following Bootcamp then you don't need to calorie count.

But you do

a) need to eat plenty of fat (it's a high fat/low carb/medium protein diet)
b) eat enough!

You may find the first few days a bit difficult, until you adjust to it, but once you're into it, you shouldn't feel hungry between meals at all.
