Argh! Carb Flu!

I've not done low carb for ages, but trying to get back into the swing of it as small baby means I'm not getting in much high intensity exercise. I'm the biggest i've ever been post pregnancy (no longer breastfeeding).

I've tried twice now to be really good but I find that i'm struggling with an empty- slightly nauseous feeling in the afternoons even after eating a decent lunch and it's sending me straight to raiding the cupboards.

Today I had three scrambled eggs for breakfast, I made homemade leek and cauliflower soup. I then had a load of cheese to fill me up then DH brought some Percy Pigs home so i've been picking at them 🤬. For tea I had a lamb chop with cauliflower cheese.

Any ideas how to keep on track in these early days? I'd normally have work to distract me but mat leave is meaning more time in the house.

I feel your pain! I think that I've just had a week of carb flu that coincided with the start of my period - cue pain and misery! My tactics- drinking lots of water, sometimes with added salt to boost electrolytes, lots of bacon, and upping the fat - double cream, cheese to remind my body to burn fat. Took about 3 days to start feeling better but I can tell that I am still not there yet. Be gentle and koko
