Am I eating too much ?!

I'm on day three and so far have stuck to it well (I think!) drinking loads of water (2L) and definitely feeling less bloated.
But today I've been really hungry and had
Scrambled eggs with butter and ham
Smoked Mackrel with lettuce avocado and feta
Chorizo slices and cubes of cheese
Cauli rice with bolognese sauce spinach and grated cheese
And just had some more chorizo and smoked cheese

blush

It's too much isn't it?!

...and olives too (7 to be precise....)

Yes if you count all the butter and cheese fest going on !

Ferventfeminista Tue 03-Jan-17 22:32:46

No that's not too much unless it was 6 eggs

Ferventfeminista Tue 03-Jan-17 22:33:34

That reads to me as 3 meals plus snacks which is fine

Needmorewine Tue 03-Jan-17 22:35:39

Oh god reading that back that's a lot of cheese. I don't have an off switch when it comes to cheese.

I had three eggs but bizarrely the scrambled three eggs left me hungrier than the two egg omelette I had yesterday.

Hard cheese is lower carb

Needmorewine Tue 03-Jan-17 22:40:00

Ooh really ? I've been having smoked cheese. Mmmmm.

It looks fine to me!

How much do you weigh? It's possible you may need to drink more water.

It's also early days and your body is getting used to low carbing. Make sure you keep your fat levels up. But I'd also look to reduce your processed food and keep an eye on the amount of dairy you're consuming.

Scrambled eggs with butter and ham
ham is processed
Smoked Mackrel with lettuce avocado and feta
smoked mackerel is processed
Chorizo slices and cubes of cheese
chorizo is processed
Cauli rice with bolognese sauce spinach and grated cheese
And just had some more chorizo and smoked cheese
both of which are processed

Ok thank you BIWI. I'm 10 stone 2 (5'1 tall!!) looking to get down to about 8 stone 9. Will try & reduce the processed meat especially & the cheese & up my water. I did this before really successfully & can't remember what I used to eat then !

It's better to get the low carbing pattern sorted first, I think, and tweak it later. If you are hungry then better to eat and HFLC meal than give in to a carb craving.

Thanks all for your input - am stopping so much of the cheese and processed meat. Low carb must agree with me though as am 4.5lb down this morning!! Mostly water weight I know but great seeing numbers go down on scales!!
