I thought it was quite carby at 12g per 100g but that's based on my knowledge from when I did BIWI's bootcamp a long while ago.

That's what I'm reading Mrs.CampbellBlack. I'm doing the whole diet doctors Low crab/High fat and I've been all over his website looking, he says anything grown above ground is good, anything grown underground is bad. But when I look at the pictures of vegetables he shows, squash is absent. Confused

Depends on how low you want to go.

I find it really filling, so maybe only have a small amount per meal? It's good cold in salads too, or as a soup.

Carb counts for butternut squash vary a lot, but it's generally a bit high - I'd make sure that you keep the rest of the carbs you're eating that day lower.

I only eat it once a week at most, so if I want I'll make sure not to eat many carbs the rest of the day. :)
