For me it is just getting in the 6 pints of water a day, also when I get up I have a pint of warm/hot water with a few slices of lemon, seems to help me .

Low carbing should not cause bloating! Usually people find the complete opposite.

For constipation, I'd say make sure you're eating plenty of fat and drinking plenty of water

Oh, forgot to say Blush if you are bloated, then drinking more water is the usual advice

Cup of warm water and 2-3plums should solve your problem, it works for me :)

Plums aren't exactly low carb though, are they?!

Resurrecting this zombie thread - because 2 weeks into a low carb diet I am having bowel movements infrequently (2 or 3 days apart) - despite drinking water and eating veg.

Well, that went well

Are you just going less often than normal hmc or are you actually constipated? I go much less frequently on a LC WOE than a "normal" WOE. I think it is because there is less waste, my body uses everything I give it.

I take psyllium husk capsules…. works well for me!

Sayra - I used to go x1 per day - now it can go two days or three but I don't feel constipated.... Maybe that is it - less waste and nothing to worry about

Thanks Boarding, I could try that
