Slimming World to Harcombe?

I've been doing SW since 29/8. Initially on EE and now mainly on red days.

However although I've lost 1lb short of 2
stone I haven't lost any weight this week and I've stuck to the plan with the exception of maybe not enough syns / HEB.

Have seen the Harcombe diet and this seems to be more like what I'm doing at the moment although I'll have to swap coffee and skimmed milk for herbal tea and stop my 10 a day satsuma habit ;)

Just wondered what people's losses had been in phase 1 switching from SW? My BMI is still in the low 30s so I've got plenty to lose!

Too hot to eat anything sensible, only had tuna for lunch, which I didn't fancy, so have eaten crap all day sad

Omelette for breakfast, one sausage (D&A 97% pork) with leeks for dinner.

Since brunch have had:

Tin of mackerel
Pork scratchings
Quite a bit of cheese with celery and cucumber
Left over cabbage parcel from last night

Hi kazza.

Had a dinner party last night:

Pea and mint soup with Parmesan crackers
Lamb cutlets with cabbage parcels (with pancetta, parsnips, carrots in), on shallot purée with a red wine jus
Lime and ginger cheesecake

I didn't have the cheesecake, but I did have a few kettle chips before, some crackers with my cheese, and a chocolate! And of course an ocean of booze.

So back on the straight and narrow today.

Have had bacon eggs and mushrooms for brunch, and am glugging water.

Well I've had a few bad days, now need to get back on track. Dh has managed to lose another 3.5 lbs, so for his sake I have to continue, he needs to lose a lot more. So this weekend I'm going to be really good. I might have a few nuts if I need a snack, but no sugar!

omelette for breakfast, will probably have bacon and eggs for lunch and we're having belly pork for dinner.

I started the mini pill 4 months ago and bleed on and off all the time. Now I've changed to a different pill and have no idea when I'm due on.

B- bacon and eggs
D- roast chicken and green beans

S- popcorn, Magnum blush blush blush

I don't think I even have a cycle anymore, been on the depo injection for years and don't have periods.

B: eggs
L: egg and mackerel salad
T: 3 heck sausages and salad

3 litres of water and 2 decaf coffees.

Nottingham and back today so didn't eat lunch till 4!!

I think Pmt may be the reason I lost the plot- because I started a new pill I had no idea what was going on in my cycle, but I think my period is starting.

Thoroughly ashamed- my boss brought egg custard tarts into work, then my colleague handed round chocolates and it was downhill from there sad

Otherwise I had omelette for breakfast, soup and salad for lunch and chilli with a little grated cheese.

Think strong Kazza! Think chocolate is just something I don't eat. I know what it tastes like, I don't need to eat it!!

Am really pleased the three pounds I lost has stayed off, thought maybe it was a blip and would be back again this morning!

Gorgeous here too today.

It's a beautiful sunny day today. Hopefully work will be a bit quieter, but I doubt it sad Will try not to fall back on chocolate blush

Am awash with water and decaf coffee.

On the harcombe forum if someone cheats they just say to think of it as a lapse into phase 3 and then just get back into phase 1. So don't worry.

It's the boss angry Luckily only today and tomorrow, then my colleague is back and I get a day off!

I have to stay on track or dh will give up too, and he has four stone to lose.

So I'll get my head round it again, go through the cravings again (sigh) and get back on track. Meanwhile I've scoffed most of a bag of chocolate peanuts sad

Tomorrow I'm going to put a pork shoulder joint in the slow cooker before I go to work and have it with braised leeks for dinner smile
