During the six weeks holidays, we go out with the dcs for trips. We generally either take picnic or buy something.

How do you cope with low carbing when having to buy food when out?

Picnics are easy, eating out - we stick to grills and salads and when pushed we just go gluten free and will eat rice or potatoes.

If eating out, i find that nearly all cafes etc that serve savoury food will have either salads, or an all day breakfast which I'll get and leave out the carby bits. Also if in a town where there's a supermarket I'll pop to the deli aisle and get (eg) ricotta stuffed peppers, little sausages etc.
