Help! Poorly tummy and craving cereal

Hello, I'm a lurker on these boards, have been low carbing since the beginning of May post baby and have lost at least 10lb so far but have a long, long way to go.
However, I (and the rest of my household) seem to have caught a bug and I have a tummy ache and bad diarrhoea and some nausea. (Sorry for the over share). All I want to eat is a bowl of cereal but I really really don't want to undo my good work. Please help - what do I do?? Presumably the cereal is a terrible idea even porridge with added cream? Low carb food that I have in the house is: tuna, sausages, butternut squash, mange tout, cheeses, avocado, chorizo, courgettes, dried bean curd sheets ... I'm not looking for something to help my tummy as I think I've just got to let it run it's course but can anyone help suggest something to break today's cereal craving?

I'd have the oatmeal and be done with it - I'd avoid wheat because you may find it doesn't agree with your tummy either now that you have avoided it for a while.

Thank you - I'll see how I go for a bit longer this evening.

I used thick lidl yoghurt and a few berries with whipped cream in our situation. I think it's about finding something you can stomach on your list or f you can't just eating what you need to to get better faster.

That's a good idea - I'll get some yoghurt tomorrow if I'm not better.
