Morning all.

Come and fill in the spreadsheet

Only two weeks to go before we finish this challenge. Time to drop a few more pounds!

But go easy with those strawberries ...

bulletwithbutterflywings Mon 24-Jun-13 08:58:43

I have been off of this woe all weekend blush combination of no LC food in the house and no money to buy any and baby shower yesterday where only sandwiches etc were available gave me a huge case of the fuckits.
Drinking a bulletproof coffee and I'll have a couple of eggs with butter a bit later. I am going to stick with no dairy, flax, strawbs etc for the remaining two weeks of BC and I will be boot camping for a long time to come! My weight loss seems to be very slow and every few weeks there seems to be something that throws me off track - I have about 10 weeks to lose a stone, that doesn't feel like long enough shock
I'll see how bad I feel about the naughtiness when I step on the scale!

Marking place. smile

Morning. STS, but I had lots of wine after a super stressful week. blush.

Mum is hopefully getting out of hospital tomorrow, so that's good news.

BIWI Mon 24-Jun-13 09:02:01

Don't worry, bullet, we will keep a chat thread going after the 10 weeks is finished!

And as for things throwing you off track, well, it's called 'life', isn't it? Part of Bootcamp is learning how to deal with them/deciding what strategies you're going to employ - by learning what does and doesn't work for you.

I doubt anybody could go through ten weeks and not slip up every now and then, either intentionally or through circumstances.

daisychicken Mon 24-Jun-13 09:03:05

Just signing in smile

Have been asked at last minute to go on school trip (having offered weeks ago...!) and frantically trying to think what I can take for lunch - any thoughts? Needs to be easy to eat, none smelly and I will only have a freezer block to keep it cool.......

WillieWaggledagger Mon 24-Jun-13 09:07:15

thanks for the new thread - i can't believe it's week 9!

a small gain of 1lb for me, but actually that's a reduction on the gain i had last week due to the humid weather and my period at the same time. i feel much lighter now the weather has broken

BobblyGussets Mon 24-Jun-13 09:16:49

I have been sticking to it with only a few slips ups in the past nine weeks and drinking so much less booze. I still haven't lost any more than I did in the first week or two, hence my lack of input on the spread sheet.

I think I will have to look at portion control. I must say, I don't think I will go back to eating bread, pasta, rice, biscuits and cakes in the way I used to. I have missed my pulses and fruit though.

sybilfaulty Mon 24-Jun-13 09:16:58

Thank you for the thread BIWI.

I haven't weighed this morning but will do so tomorrow. I am determined to keep track of my weight even if I am maintaining for a while whilst the job situation is decided, so I'll weigh and post (although I won't use the spreadsheet)

Beating myself up here after a difficult weekend stress-wise and food-wise. I know I sabotage myself sometimes but am trying to tell myself that it will take longer than a few weeks to change old habits. Back on Bootcamp this week. I'll be back later to post meals as it does make me accountable and keep me focussed. Good luck everyone.

couch25cakes Mon 24-Jun-13 09:26:19

Another 1lb off for me smile slow and steady if nothing else.

I was actually lighter on Saturday but the weekend as ever added a little. It was a hectic weekend and all in all I'm happy with my pound.

I've not been on since Thursday, I did pop on to read yesterday but the thread had gone so fast I was overwhelmed grin

I had a day off on Friday for dd's sports day and school picnic. Food wise Friday was pretty good. I took a salad to the picnic and had salmon and fried courgette for dinner, but had 2 glasses of red wine later on with dh while we watched gardeners world (such a galmorous lifestyle!). Then Saturday was the school summer fair so it was black farmers sausages for breakfast, a chicken leg for lunch from the fair and Indian for dinner (chilli paneer and chicken wings and beer ).

I gt back on the wagon yesterday and had scrambled eggs for brunch, yoghurt for a snack and homemade hamburgers for dinner with salad.

Have a good day everyone.

Thanks biwi, what exercise is best to get rid of the glycogen quickly? Weights, cardio, hiit, a combination? I all fully prepared to go for it tonight at the gym to try and get back into keto asap! I have a snazzy new heart rate monitor watch doofer so if you know what percentage heart rate I should aim for to deplete the glycogen that would be helpful. smile

snowballinashoebox Mon 24-Jun-13 09:51:24

I'm on the move again with 2lb off.

I have had the odd glass of red and a fair few squares of green and blacks though. Not going to beat myself up about this as I am finding a balance.

My eczema has suddenly flared up and I am a bit worried it might be cheese which I have been eating a lot of and love. I might try cutting it out this week, gulp.

Crabby your photos remind me of beautiful still life paintings, just lovely.

sybil sorry re your job situation, fingers crossed for you.

daisy how about a salad with feta, parma harm, olives, leaves etc with a nice oily dressing, would probably survive with an ice pack.

bullet "I have about ten weeks to lose a stone, that doesn't feel like long enough"

Yes, you can do this!! And we will support and help you. (I lost 20lbs so nearly a stone and a half on my first 10 week bootcamp, and I think the last 5 pounds of that came in the last 2 weeks when I was beginning to panic a little after loss slowed). Losing 14 lbs in 10 weeks ie under 2lbs a week is possible if you follow the rules - you just have to decide this is the priority NOW and go for it! <shakes pompoms>

2lb loss for me this morning. Not entirely sure I believe my scales after being at the same weight for a couple of weeks now so I may re-weigh before I commit it to the s/sheet. perhaps it was the threat of my intended Übercamp that scared the crap ketones out of me!! grin

B omelette made with 2 eggs, mushrooms, half a slice of chopped up bacon and butter.

Thanks for the thread BIWI.

Morning everyone. Thank you Ruby and Sybil for the lovely comments about my blog, and to MrsHP for following it. I wish it could be a job Sybil but I'm not nearly a good enough photographer for that. Thank you though! smile It's just a (very time consuming) hobby, but I do enjoy it. Nature photography has always been my thing but I'm enjoying the challenge of learning about food photography.

Rup I'm in south west Surrey.

NewStart sorry to hear you had such a difficult night. Sleeping badly (or not at all) is a fecker, it really screws up your mood and metabolism.

Well miraculously the wine didn't put a pound on overnight so I keep my 1lb loss for last week. I can't say I'm thrilled with that but that's because I'm a grumpy hungover cowbag who can't shake off this silly slump. hmm

<<goes off to kick self roundly up the arse>>

CrabbyBigBottom Mon 24-Jun-13 10:00:22

Thank you Snowball. smile

I am lucky that between 10am and 2:30pm I have flexibility to today. So I am going to go sleep. I know I am going to have to be extra focused tomo but with some good sleep and a proper mental approach to it it will be possible to stay on track with deadlines etc.

Actually eaten:
B: Buttered leaks and scrambled eggs
S: 5 baby bel cheeses.

Drunk 2ltrs of water
Exercise 3 hours total comprised of stretches and flexibility work, stamina work, impact work, and choreography/dance type stuff. Some energetic, some slow and repetitive.

hopefully will now get 4ish hours of sleep. which will be a start. Early night tonight needed.

CiderwithBuda Mon 24-Jun-13 10:09:13

Morning all. A pound on for me over the weekend. Still no idea what to enter on spreadsheet though with new scales.

Have just been out for my run though so hopefully that will help shift it. Two eggs mashed with butter for breakfast.

Lunch will be salmon bits and salad I think. And BBQ and salad for dinner. Will be avoiding dairy. Have had two cups of tea with milk this morning though. Contemplating trying a bullet proof coffee. Am I brave enough?

bulletwithbutterflywings Mon 24-Jun-13 10:13:31

Toomuch thanks for the pompoms!

bulletwithbutterflywings Mon 24-Jun-13 10:18:57

Do it Cider! You won't regret it! you might feel like you've done a line of speed though

middleagedspread Mon 24-Jun-13 10:25:45

Morning All.
Well done to all you losers.
I'm full of shame, I fell off the wagon & into a ditch filled with booze, pavlova & custard tarts. this is especially galling as I was showing off about squeezing into my size 10 jeans.
I've hauled myself back on today.

berryfreeze Mon 24-Jun-13 10:29:33

bullet I bought myself a hula hoop,it is great, I am sure it has helped with an inch and a half lost on waist line, make sure it is a slightly weighted one, and there are loads of videos on you tube to look at, I normally do 20 mins in morning and 10 in evening.

bulletwithbutterflywings Mon 24-Jun-13 10:45:49

I'm no good at hula hooping! DSM has one and I have tried a few times.
I do strength training mainly, and as little cardio as I can get away with - its so boring! I am increasing it though with some interval training and a bit of running. I just love weights so much I hate wasting my gym time on the treadmill sad
Weights are paying off though - my biceps and glutes are definitely bigger, I just need to get my body fat percentage down a lot bit more and get some definition and vascularity going on! <hulks up> <grrr>

berryfreeze Mon 24-Jun-13 11:06:38

I was rubbish when I first started, can keep it up now for 20 mins can't do all the hand work though, I keep dropping it and hurting myself!
