Morning all.

We've completed our ten weeks - and I can see from the Spreadsheet just how well it's gone!

But just because the ten weeks are up, doesn't mean we have to stop. So here's a bright, shiny new chat thread for us to keep chatting and supporting each other.

Good morning all. Thank you for the new thread and for doing this for us.
Am down 0.8lb today. I'll take that, since there have been a couple of lapses and an extra 'period' this month! I have lost 16lb over this bootcamp and am so happy and grateful to everyone who has helped me and commented on the threads. It's really kept me going.
Am carrying on until the 23rd and will try not to go too mad over Christmas, although I will definitely eat some goose fat roast potatoes (sorry Biwi).
I hope you all have a lovely Christmas x

I'm the same @MrsHuntGeneNotJeremyObviously I'm sticking to bootcamp, having Xmas Eve, Day and Boxing Day off then back on it. Not planning to go mad on them days either and will still fast until 12pm.

Yayyyyyy. Thank you so much for all the support and chat here over the last ten weeks. It’s been hugely helpful - and I can see from my tick sheet that my eating has massively improved since I joined you guys.

I feel much happier and healthier.

I weighed in this morning at half a pound below my goal weight - I aimed for 9 stone 10 and got 9 stone 9 1/2. Absolutely delighted. I have lost 1 stone 3 1/2 pounds across this Bootcamp. Have included a progress photo + a bonus photo of my outfit this morning because my jumpsuit is now too baggy!

Good luck everyone!

Hello All. 1.8lbs off this week, making a total of 13.6lbs this bootcamp and 3 stone 12lbs since the start of the last bootcamp. This has been a truly life changing experience - heartfelt thanks to all who have contributed.

I am not quite there - tantalisingly close to being in the 10s (0.3lb!) and I ultimately want to lose another stone to be solidly in my healthy weight category. I’m taking a week off and will be back on next Monday, and definitely for the next bootcamp. See you then!

Merry Christmas one and all!

Down to 11st 5.5lb - 2.5lb down from last Tuesday (but a pound down from last Monday Xmas Wink) - that's 1st 5.5lb this Boot Camp Xmas Smile

I'm just over a pound down from where I'd got to last Christmas Eve - so still hoping for a wee bit more off by Thursday Xmas Grin

@Lyrata you've done amazingly well!!!

I've STS again this week, so 11lb in total this bootcamp.
I am over the moon tbh and I think we should all be proud of ourselves.

Thanks @BIWI and Stuntnun for this - I will KOKO and have a little bit of time off over the festive period but will not go mad!

Morning all and a huge thanks to BIWI and Stuntnun and everyone else who has contributed to this thread.

I’m weighing in at 10 stone 0.7lbs, I was under 10 stone during the week, but it has crept up slightly, so that will be the aim for next bootcamp. So that’s 12 1/2 lbs this boot camp, for context I’m 5 foot 2, with a small frame. My BMI is now 25.9, so just a tiny bit to go there to. My NSV is that my belt has gone in 3 notches.

My plan was to try to mindfully eat real food over Christmas and to try to keep alcohol, chocolates etc to the festive days.

However when you plan that out, for me it is; Christmas eve and Christmas Day , Boxing Day and I then have my dd1s birthday, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. So I think some menu planning may be in order as although I expect a couple of lbs I really don’t want too many.

I’m going to keep posting and am wondering about if having a certain number of treats a day would work as a form of maintenance? So rather than falling into the trap of I’ve had 2 glasses of wine, so f**k it, I say to myself, you can have 3 treats and those drinks were 2 of them.

Anyway for today

B Greek Yogurt
L homemade soup
D casserole using up left over roast beef

2 coffees, teapigs teas and Water....

However as I am in tier 4, there are no outside temptations except for takeaways....

Am excited for a new year and new bootcamp. I know that in real terms there's no difference between December and January but psychologically it feels different. Am definitely ready to see the end of 2020 and get a shiny new year with reset diet and fitness goals and hopefully an end to Covid!

I am down 1.1lb today, just under 7lb this bootcamp but I am close to goal now at 143.4lb (65.2kg).

I will relax a bit over Christmas but not before Christmas Eve evening. There will definitely be alcohol and a mince pie, a roastie on Christmas day and some mushroom wellington and a yorkshire pud.

I will be back to dry January and Bootcamp proper from 1 Jan.

Thank you to everyone for your support and to @BIWI and @stuntnun for their work in keeping us and this thread going: I have loved reading it and it has definitely spurred me on.

I've learnt so much about myself over the past 10 weeks, about my relationship with food and drink, plus my self-esteem and sel-identity. I know it's a cliché but it has been quite a journey of discovery.

Happy low-carb Christmas to everyone and thank you all for your support, that's been a huge part in this!

Well done everyone on your weight loss achievements. Some really fabulous results here.

I've totally surprised myself by losing 9 lb this Bootcamp; I've got rid of the weight I put on in lockdown. I was still eating low carb but too much snacking and more alcohol took their toll. I definitely don't want to see the scales moving upwards again so I'll only be taking Christmas Day off low carb. Even then it won't be a carb-fest but I'll treat myself to roast potatoes and stuffing with my roast goose, a glass of Bucks Fizz, and I'll indulge in dessert then make my teenagers eat the rest so I won't be tempted the next day!

I recommend people stick around on these threads over Christmas and New Year to help keep yourself accountable. I'm very much in favour of making the most of a feast day. But what you don't want to do is end up eating things you didn't really want just because they're there. It's much better to plan to maintain so that you can start the next Bootcamp in a good place. So make sure to have your meal plans done and your favourite low carb foods available so that you can be tempted by good food. My DH has carefully crafted a cheese board that will keep us going for a fair few evenings after Christmas.

Well done on all your brilliant losses everyone! I am 1lb down so that makes for 18lb this boot camp- not bad I would say! I'm taking a few days off over Christmas but will be back on it after boxing day and hopefully will be much the same as now by the time we start the next boot camp! Thanks biwi, stuntnun and athelstane for all your organising and helping us along.

Hello everyone- I am still here and can't quite believe the official 10 weeks is over !
I nearly didn't weight today due to the non arrival of AF and ongoing bloating but then I thought I needed to for accountability and lo and behold I am 1.8 lbs down and only 1 Lb away from entering the next stone.
I have lost a total of 22lbs this bootcamp.

I also need to send gushing thanks to BIWI , StunTNun and everyone else on here. At the end of summer it felt so insurmountable that at times I wondered if this was it and I was destined to be a 50 something fatty before too long. I lacked confidence and felt ironically invisible in public (despite being larger than ever!) As someone who has always really taken pride in my appearance I felt lost and like I didn't know myself anymore.

I feel so much better about myself and my health it's been really transformational and I am determined to get back onto the next bootcamp to ditch the rest of the excess baggage.

There are some incredible successes on here.@Lyrata you look stunning. Well done everyone of you.

I will be sticking around on here as I don't really have a firm plan for Christmas but I have stocked up on cold meats / pate / cheeses in the hope that if I eat too much ( likely !) it will still be low carb.

Have a great Christmas everyone - I keep telling myself I will emerge like a beautiful butterfly when we are eventually liberated from COVID restrictions back to a more normal life.

Evangelical post over !

I’ve stayed the same this week but that’s to be expected as I’ve eased up slightly for Christmas. Also, I weighed 1lb less a couple
Of days ago and saw 9 stone something on my scales for the first time in 10 years 😮 I’m still a undecided as to whether I’m going to try to stick here or drop a few more lbs as I am currently between a size 8 and a size 10 and I would prefer to be one or the other. (And I am in denial that I am between those two sizes as I have struggled to get into a 12 for years and even a 14 was a bit too tight 4 months ago). Over 2 stone off in 4 months is bloody good going for me.

So thank you everyone for the chat and support - this has been such a positive experience. I’m carrying on eating this way after Christmas (to an extent) so I’ll still be around.

Thanks for the new thread and all of the advice.

Only 6lbs off for me this bootcamp. I'm determined not to put it back over Christmas. My plan is Bootcamp Light every day except Christmas Day, and allowing myself one G&T each night if I want a drink.

I've made a meal plan for the week and the shopping list is done. Making a big moussaka tonight.

One pound off for me.

Tomorrow is Christmas dinner (complicated family arrangements) but then I'm back on it for the rest of the time. Some wine on Christmas day but no puddings or carby snacks.

Thanks to whoever mentioned the Schneider Brot protein bread, available in Asda's. It does taste a bit like rye bread, but at least it tastes of something (I'm not a fan of the seriously low carb bread). It's 4g carb per slice, so at least on Christmas day I'll be able to enjoy a turkey sandwich Smile.

Great results everyone, and wow, Lyrata, those pictures are amazing!!

I'm taking yesterday's weight as my final one because I had a really strenuous day physically yesterday and I'm always up the day after. 10st 8.6lbs, down from a start of 11st 10lbs. BMI now just under 25.

Merry Christmas all, and so happy for everyone's joy at their losses!

I went back to lurking a few weeks ago due to illness; but I KOKO, and, 10 weeks later, I'm 20lb down. I still have a bunch to lose, but I now feel like I can do it, rather than it being an impossible and miserable task. I, um, didn't actually really think this WOE was going to change my body (and attitude to food!) so much, so very many thanks to BIWI, StuntNun and everyone else for the guidance and support. Literally life changing.

More importantly than the pounds though... At the start of this, I posted a picture of this dress. My goal dress. I was too horribly embarrassed to post the second photo at the time, but suffice to say, I didn't think there was any way 10 weeks could make that much difference. But at least it might get me part of the way towards getting back into it?

The final photo is me today. Not gonna lie, I had a little teary moment. Feels a bit like a Christmas miracle! I haven't fit in this in more than six years, but I'm going to wear it to see in 2021 because of you lovely lot.

Well done everyone!

I was down 0.5lb this morning, tantalisingly close to a stone off over bootcamp and 50lb off since the end of July. I'm not unhappy though as it's my totm and I ate a lot of keto cheesecake this week.

@Lyrata no one's sharing a progress pic after seeing yours Grin You look great!
