Good morning please could somebody kindly add my new weight of 120 lbs?

Not much of a loss I had been lighter during the week but certainly great that I’ve not gained.

Interested to see how everyone else has done today.

Another rainy day here annoying as I’d been hoping to get a big dog walk in in the sunshine like yesterday.

Starting today!
I'm 17st 9lb.

B: scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon and spinach
L: roast chicken with spinach, rocket, and lettuce.
T: roast chicken, broccoli, cauliflower, and Swede mash.

My breakfast. This looks amazing. Are you sure I'm going to lose weight? 😅

So here's the brief version.

1lb down on Friday and logged that in the SoF. Worked very hard for that! Then....

Friday: ate well. Waaayyyy to much wine
Saturday nothing special except huge hangover. Unusual for me.
Sunday. 3lb found me probably from the wine. This affected my mindset. Spent all day "fighting the fuckits". Some small cheats during the day. Went out to dinner and still won the fight (but a disappointing steak and the extra salad was just a sodding pile of iceberg Hmm). Came home. Drank wine. Ate biscuits, French bread and plain soft while rolls. AngryAngry

Not weighing today. Going to move the scales into the spare room did the week.

SadSad

My pound off yesterday has stuck so happy with that, 9lbs so far. Would love to get to a stone.

That does look lovely HerRoyal, and yes you’ll definitely lose weight if you stick to the rules. Maybe start thinking of another username??

Rainy here too pinksubscriber, fed up with it now!

Thanks stuntnun for the new weeks thread. Good luck everyone!

Hey all. I’m back. I started last Monday and today I’ve lost 9lbs! Started the week at 14st and now 13.5.

Off to Waitrose later for some low carb goodies

Hello all! Well my weekend in Bath was a weekend of piling headlong into the carbs, and dear God I had gone up nearly half a stone when I got home.

Back on the wagon, I have put sts for last Monday because otherwise I would show an insane drop this week which will flatter me too much. So, 1.5 pounds overall loss over 2 weeks, and (TMI,) headlong carb gorging can lead to actual puking. In the restaurant loos. Yeuch.

Fabulous trip though. God we had a laugh.

Morning all 1.5 lbs off this week, so 10 lbs in total, I feel like I’m in the swing of it now, that’s to say it is more a woe, I definitely don’t feel like it is a diet. Hoping for another 3 or 4 lbs off in the next 3 weeks.

B total Greek yogurt
L scrambled eggs with avocado
D roast lamb from yesterday with FLGV

Water.....

@HerRoyalFattyness it feels like a real leap of faith, doesn't it, tucking into food like that? But you will lose weight, we promise! (As long as you're following the rules of course) Smile

Report
StuntNun · 24/02/2020 09:05

Which a lot of people haven't been doing lately BIWI! It's common to fall off the wagon and it's not worth beating yourself up about it; the most important thing is to get back to eating low carb as soon as possible and not let one poor food choice or day lead to another. BUT this is not a forgiving way of eating. If you have a carby twat moment then you will often regain weight fast as your glycogen stores are refilled AND you're likely to have increased hunger and cravings over the next few days. So if you have fallen off the wagon lately then please take a step back and work out what went wrong and what led to poor food choices. Sometimes they will be genuinely unavoidable but most of the time they will either be due to poor planning or to permitting yourself "just one..."

L cauli soup
D something with duck legs and lots of green veg
Water water water 🌧 goodness knows there’s enough of it outside

I'll weigh this evening as I only trust one scales which I'll get to at my exercise class but the mirror is not telling me a good story. I've exercised less in the last two weeks because of various reasons.

I had an average weekend. Sent DH and DD off to the pub for a carvery and I joined them later. I'm actually not at all bothered about roast dinners so it just felt like a waste of money and too much hassle to avoid the carbs. But did drink some wine later on.

I've been to the gym already this morning and meals are planned.

B - egg mayonnaise
L - ham salad
D - sausages and FLGV

Some fantastic losses everyone, well done.

HerRoyalFattyness If you haven’t already done so it’s really useful to plot your weight on a graph - I love seeing the line going downwards and find it keeps me motivated. I use happy scales as recommended by others on here.

Back up to 125 so about 1.5lbs on, but after a big family weekend away and lots of work travel in the week I'll take that. I actually think most of the problem was lack of water this weekend.

Confident I can drop this week: hopefully 3 swims after none last week, two nights eating without DH so nice and early, and some IF. Plenty of water!

Today:
B: 30 mins swim, 15 hour fast then yogurt with almond butter
L: egg-cheese-tomato-mayo on spinach and cucumber with oil and few nuts.
D: pork belly strips with FLGV

5 lbs to target.

Heh, I know where I went wrong : pleasurable low carb eating out as a vegetarian is next to impossible, especially given the veganisation of vegetarian options. So, first child-free weekend in 18 months wasn't going to be skipped, and was going to be revelled in!

Back on it now though. Really hoping to get below 12 1/2 stone this week. Then aiming for below 12 4 which will mark last year's lowest.

I plan to continue low carb beyond boot camp, as I would really like to get properly down into the 11 stone somethings before summer, and see how that looks and feels.

Report
MrsBertBibby · 24/02/2020 11:15

I think it's an important angle on this woe though. Obviously this is boot camp so rules is rules, but for maintenance, food has to be fun and easy, and guilt free! If you're hair-shirting around the place long term, you're just continuing the dysfunctional relationship with food we ideally want to improve.

Ponk you’re on the spreadsheet.

HerRoyal I’m an Apple girl but google for android app recommendations. Some do too much for me, like MyFitnessPal. I wanted simple—weight, BMI, graph—so use Weight Diary but that’s Apple all the way as well.

Your breakfast looked lush. How do you get your scrambled eggs to look like that? Every time we’re in a hotel breakfast buffet they look like that and my children want me to replicate but I’ve no idea how.

Some great losses this week but I think we’ll need an ambulance soon as the street seems to be littered with bodies that have fallen off this wagon I keep hearing about, which is clearly running amok.

At least everyone’s owning it and knows why and plans to KOKO, which is good.

WAAAAATERRRRRR!!!

A happy weigh in Smile

I never actually posted my weight last week Blush - I'd hoped that last Monday was a blip/down to lack of water/too much wine over the weekend but it wasn't Blush - so last week I'd gone up from 11st 4.25lb the week before to 11st 5.5lb Sad

But this week I'm down to 11st 3.75lb Smile So down 0.5lb from 2 weeks ago and 1.75lb down from last week Grin

Inching towards breaking that 11st barrier Smile
