I've previously low carbed and done well but I've slipped back into eating bread and put on a bit of weight... I need help cutting out bread again please!

My worst time is breakfast time - I used to have various egg based breakfasts but have gone right off them which is making it really hard and berries with yogurt isn't quite filling me up. Doesn't help I have trouble eating much in the morning.

Any ideas?

I'm starting with the bread which is my main issue because of convenience and then will do the rest of my diet!

How keto-adapted are you? If you say you're not really hungry or struggle to eat in the morning, could you just miss breakfast? (Effectively doing a 16:8 fast)

Then plan to have a good HFLC lunch. Smile

That would be perfect if I didn't have medication to take with food in the morning - the other reason I need a bit more than berries and yogurt

I'm not medical but how much food is required? Enough just to line your stomach? Would a bullet proof coffee (coffee with coconut oil and butter) be sufficient?

Or go continental and have ham and cheese. Or buttered veg (I have in occasion had left over cold microwaved in butter brussel sprouts my particular addiction Blush - although at the moment, I'm having to make do with runner beans from the garden Wink)

Ooh I didn't think of ham and cheese - thank you! I think they are bland enough for me to stomach.

It's hard to balance how much food is needed because the side effects are upset tummy but I have been ok on a kale, cucumber and apple smoothie in the past.
