Morning all

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness.

We've reached the half way part now, and I hope you're finding it a bit easier - no more carb flu, and getting used to a different way of eating.

If you've suffered from the week 3, 4 or even 5 stall, I hope that this week you'll see the scales start to move (downwards!) again.

I hope you all have a good week

Just hopped on the scales and I'm down to 184.2 so down 9.8lbs! I know a lot of it will be water weight in the first week or so but this WOE is definitely working Smile

Half a pound off this week, quite happy with that as it's TOTM.
Good luck to everyone today,
KOKO!

Can some kind soul add me as 213lbs?

That’s 3lbs off this week, but 2lbs in the last fortnight as I gained a lb last week. Am happy with that.

Been weighing Tuesdays. Not a good weekend. Feel upset in self and v hungry this morning. Told myself it was Lent on Wednesday and I deserved to break ranks.

About half a pound off for me. I'm OK with that as had a couple of meals out that weren't the best.

BIWI that's one hell of a tax letter!
Sadly my low carb cheese sauce ended up a split coagulated mess

Put on 1/2 lb, dammit - but entirely my fault. I've been pretty good about the food, but had a friend to stay and have had a couple of glasses of wine each night to keep them company. Made me realise how I put on most of this weight in the first place tbh - until a few years ago I was one of those people who had a couple of glasses every night, and those were the years where my weight slowly and inexorably rose upwards. So, I have one big family event this weekend, and then its back on the wagon until the end of bootcamp! On the bright side, I seem to have the eating rules firmly embedded now - I was asked to pick from a menu in advance for this big family event, and I automatically went to the most high fat, low carb items!

Nothing off (again!) but I’m not surprised as had cake and a biscuit on Saturday. Only have 7ibs to lose now so it’s bound to be harder I guess.

Very happy to be booze free and hoping the scales will start to move down now. Am going to give 16:8 a good go now too

Day 14 of boot camp for me so proper weigh in tomorrow. Survived Saturday night with a plate of chicken curry (no discernible veg content) and declined all the accompanying carbs.
Yesterday: one tea with milk, one creamy coffee. Run out of chamomile but found a stray one in my handbag Smile
Brunch of sausage, shallots, mushrooms, tinned tomatoes and spinach baked in the oven with eggs cracked in towards the end. The Sainsbury's organic 95% meat sausages are v low carb and really nice (and were reduced!).
Roast pork and crackling last night with various green veg and celeriac roasted in goose fat which was heavenly, very parsnip-like. Probably definitely too big a plateful though. Doing ok with water though.

Could someone add my weight please? 135 thanks v much.

An increase but I did have sat/sun off, I stuck to low carb food but there was wine and a couple of cocktails. Have taken my first sertraline tablet this morning, feeling a bit jittery and queasy at the moment so not eaten yet.

Hope you all have a good day Flowers

Grump, grump, grump. 145 on the nose for the latter part of the week, 144.6 yesterday ... 146.7 this morning, which means I've stayed the same AGAIN. This is the bit of a diet where I get disheartened - although I am being inspired by all of your losses, both the newbies and those who have been doing it for ages & seen it transform their lives.
I don't know where I went wrong yesterday. Perhaps a coffee with milk rather than cream, half a carrot baron & two dark chocolates were enough to tip me over the edge. But they were such a lovely Sunday treat.
Hmm, right, as I wanted to say I'd lost 10lbs in the first five weeks and was aiming for another five lbs in the second five weeks, I'd just better re-focus and crack on this week.
I will no doubt be muttering & grumpy all day though. And wondering why I bothered avoiding alcohol on my night out on Friday.
Sigh.
Well done to all of those who have seen SV this morning.
BIWI was the tax letter so ridiculous that you immediately knew it must be wrong or did you have a moment of fear?

2.8lbs on this week which is awful especially as I have eaten anything I shouldn’t have.

Report
AveAtqueVale · 12/02/2018 08:44

I had that a couple of weeks ago, ASD - it all came off and more the next week though! But it’s very frustrating when you’ve been good.

I’m 1.6lbs down this week but expect a pop back up in the next day or two as I had a couple of roast potatoes last night. In my defence the fried courgette I made to go with my roast pork was inexplicably disgusting, so otherwise I’d have just been eating meat, since DH had snaffled and glutened all the carrots.

Checking in.

I'm a little behind the curve as this is my start to Week 4. Nothing lost in Week 3 and I'm not anticipating losing anything this week due to The Dreaded Stall, but will koko.

Checking in. I haven’t weighed yet though.

I’m struggling mentally and have been for the past week or so. I’ve lost my cooking mojo and that usually means I go off track. :(

Aargh up 100g. However I'm starting to weigh first thing in the morning out of my PJs - TMI - so actually recording a bit of a loss. I LG didn't seem to matter of the scales were really precise before as the increments of loss were larger but now every 100g counts!

I'm hoping this is week 4 stall even though I never got it on the last bootcamp harrumph as I've been pretty good overall except for the water! I think I was influenced by a colleague who said to me that everyone actually drinks too much water I general and she's very fit and slim. But I will try religiously this week with it and see how I go.

2.2 pound off! So a total of 9.8 this bootcamp Grin

Had the most delicious celeriac risotto last night (and having leftovers now for breakfast). Followed the instructions on the back of the Waitrose celeriac rice pack, added shallots, leftover roast chicken, a little chorizo and used the fatty chicken juices from roast as stock. Lots of grated Parmesan to serve.

KOKO everyone. Sorry I can't keep up with the thread, it feels like I'm being quite rude not name-checking everyone Blush but please know that all the stories you are sharing are so motivating, ThanksThanksThanksthank you!

Had a bit of a whoosh this weekend and am weighing in today at 4lbs down, which compensates for the stall I had a couple of weeks ago. Really happy to see my efforts are paying off a bit now Smile

Don't know if it's a coincidence, but I've discovered Pukka Lean Matcha Green tea and have been starting the day with a mug of that before breakfast - it says it can boost the metabolism... Whatever, I'm going to get some more with my next online shop!

headoutofthesand this is exactly what happens to me too. Having been 144 yesterday, I was hoping to get to 143.8 this morning to give me 2lb off. Nope, pinged up to 144.8lb.

Having done this before, I am confident however that there will be a whoosh - towards the end I had a couple of weeks of 2lbs off so am hoping to achieve that again. Still aiming to get into the 130s by the end of bootcamp. I'm 10lb down at the half way stage, another 4.2lb to go!
