Egg Fast People - did you lose inches?

Hello, having a mild panic as I've been very not low carb recently but I need to try on my bridesmaid dress for a wedding next year.

I'm concerned that it might not fit (I know I have until next year to lose weight but obviously from the brides POV I was measured for this in May so I should have lost some weight by now! I have, I've just put it back on Grin).

The shop ordered me the wrong size so I need to try it on Monday and if it doesn't fit they will do the alterations for free.

Anyway, I was going to do the egg fast for the next couple of days and wondered if previous fasters lost inches?

Any other speedy waist reduction tips?!

I think I'm the only one to be unsuccessful on the egg fast. Only quarter of a pound lost & no inches!

Others have had success on here however. I know it's supposed to be used to break a plateau and you have to be careful when transitioning back to LCHF eating, otherwise it all goes back on again.

I didn't notice inches lost, I lost a few pounds. But I imagine a good 5 days plus doing a proper transition and you'd see decent results in 10 days.

Hi SayrraT. I did the egg fast, five days. Three strict (day two feeling sick, so didn't eat as much as I should have) days four and five adding in some LC veg. I didn't get the tape measure out and measure before and after but my clothes became noticeably looser.

yellowllilie. It's three or maximum five days.

Remembering off the top of my head it's

Mimimum of six eggs a day/maximum, as many as you need.

Tblsp butter for every egg

Up to ounce cheese for every egg

Minimum three litres of water

Nothing else.

Suggested if there is a significant stall.

Stuntnun printed out the rules early on in the thread before this one.
