Morning all. Very excited to hear the final scores!

Here's the Spreadsheet for its last outing this Bootcamp

We'll keep this chat thread going, and when it finishes, we'll start a new one so that we can keep the support going until next Bootcamp.

Morning, thanks BIWI and all BCERS for a fantastic, supportive BC.
Weirdly I have gained 3 lb since yesterday, despite exercising loads and being v v v strict with food and buckets of water. Could be TOTM or could be the fact that I've got incredibly sore muscles from pushing it with weights at the gym and at pole fit.
I don't want this to be my final weight, so will hold of weighing for a day or so... Spreadsheet supremos, is that OK?
Hoping everyone else gets better numbers :)
Sipping a creamy coffee and more water.

Morning! Total 11.6lb off for this BC Grin very happy with that.
Thank you again BIWI for running this and keeping us in line.
I'm more of a lurker than a poster but I intend to keep going. Have a family celebration meal this week which isn't BC friendly (Michelin star 7 course fixed choice) but is a very special treat for a significant Birthday (not mine!) so I intend to enjoy it and get back on LCHF next day.
I'll be checking in on threads as the support has been invaluable. Hope the scales are kind to everyone this morning

Morning all, thank you for a great bootcamp, sorry I wasn't posting much but followed your progress. Well done everyone!
Will definitely join the next bootcamp and carry on low carbing meanwhile
My current weight 237.4lbs (-3.8lbs last week). According to spreadsheet that makes -29.9 over last 10 weeks ( I do have plenty more to lose though to get my BMI from 33 to under 25...)

Well done oldbooks You've certainly clocked up great NSV's and a great loss Grin

My final total for this bootcamp is 15lbs Star

187 down to 172

I'm not going to do a tally of all the things LCHF has done for me just yet. I'm coming up to my 6 month marker and will do one then. I think I'll have at least another 6 months to go after that.

Tbh, it doesn't feel like a struggle or a trial, it feels perfectly doable. There's no question about whether or not I'm going to keep going because this is now my way of eating.

Looking forward to seeing everyone else's results. Don't forget, any progress is still progress!

2lb down this week so that means 1 stone 1lb over Boot Camp Smile

Started at 14 stone 13lb, now 13 stone 12lb - about where I was in January when I started my latest round of comfort eating.

If I can keep going at c5lb a month, then I should be into only Wink "overweight" BMI category by Christmas Smile

Thanks everyone for the support. I am now happy to fill up at the petrol station and ignore the shelves of sweets. Even bought ds a Snickers bar after picking him up from rugby training and had no sense of missing out while he ate it.

It's taken me a while to get out of the habit of snacking even if the snacks are HFLC - not helped by being at home and still trying to work out what I "should" be doing Hmm. But doing the egg fast has helped - and I think allowing myself snacks but making them things I'll have to make (as opposed to slices of meat, Emmenthal, nuts....) will make sure that I am actually hungry before having them.

Only miss enjoying a slice of warm sourdough (which I make weekly for dh and ds) with homemade raspberry jam (this year's batch is apparent one of my best). May factor in a "once a week" treat.

Still to start an exercise regime (the Shred and running) - that should also help maintain progress.

Well done everyone!

Cathy - I class my lowest weight of the week as my WI for the spreadsheet, so I think that's ok?

My final WI is 10st 7.5 so 6.5lbs lost over 10 weeks which for me is brilliant! So happy and feel motivated to carry on which for me is half the battle!

Thank you to everyone for posting - I read them all, for sticking by me when I've been a carby twat and for all the hints and tips! Going to keep going! X

My final weight is 195.8 which means 13 stone 13 lbs and 8 ounces! I did it - saw a number on the scales that I haven't seen this century! Down from 206 which was 15.6. Already that seems unbelievable. Just as smidge over 20lb lost. Can't even begin to articulate how happy that makes me. 4 more lbs and I am no longer obese. 2.5 stone and I will have a normal BMI again. I'm a bit scared to be honest, I'm entering territory I barely remember with my body, but I am absolutely delighted.

I was sitting in this same spot on 21 May. I'd just discovered bootcamp because a thread popped up in active. I came and had a look, realised it started next day. I'd had a horrible day of feeling hangry, and I was at the end of my rope with my weight. I had tried everything, and was getting fatter and sicker every year. I was at the point of thinking that for my mental health, I maybe just needed to accept it and stop fighting it, stop discussing it at the doctors, stop worrying about it, and somehow find a way to make peace with myself. I decided this was my final effort, and made one crucial decision - I would follow the damn rules. Every minute of the day. No slips, no 'tastes' no 'treats' no special occasion leeway, no messing about with tweaks. I would just do it. And also I promised my poor body that there would be no hunger, no deprivation, no low fat tweaking (although that one has been hard, and I've needed constant vigilance!) I said if I made half a stone off in the 10 weeks, and got myself under 15 stone, I'd consider it a success. So I've done 3 times that. I haven't seen just 14 stone, but also 13 stone. A normal weight feels in my grasp. I can't thank everyone enough for the support, and BIWI for the idea and it's execution. This really has saved my life.

1.5lbs on but totm and ate a slice of cake yesterday. Makes 13.5lb total loss which I'm happy with. I think I've learnt a lot about myself and my eating this bootcamp. Thank you to all the organisers. Sorry for my grumbling.

L238 glad to hear from you.

I would love to hear how your Michelin star 7 course fixed choice turns out. Hope you come back and tell us how it went.

There will most likely be bread on the table, which would be 'easy' (ha ha) to skip. Portions will likely be small, too. If you skip any 'pudding' course, and enjoy the cheese without crackers, I'm would expect to come out entirely satisfied and entirely on plan.

After an adult lifetime of gradually increasing weight, I am now relying on BC to keep me ok for the rest of my life. I find the more expensive the meal, the more BC friendly it is likely to be, so long as I avoid anything sweet, and any bread etc.

Carbs seem to be used to bulk out a meal, I'm thinking Yorkshire pudding with a roast, chips and batter with fish, pasta etc.

Morning all, I'm still here and planning on staying on the thread as this BC has been great support to me.

I've been away/lurking over the last 3+ weeks. I've read every single post of the first 8 weeks and am familiar with the struggles and victories of all of you. I can't thank enough for all the support from BIWI, stuntnun, wombattoo, C4 etc
Lovely knowing you ladies, please don't go away!

My total loss is 7 lbs which is not a massive amount. Still, I am grateful for discovering there is a wonderful world out there without carbs and cravings, where I am full of energy, sleep well, don't' know what bloat feels like and enjoy every single morsel on my plate, because it tastes good and is making me feel fab!
The main NSV for me is my clothes fit well and I can wear everything in my wordrobe, even all my pre-pregnancy clothes.
I would love to loose another 8lbs and it will be a slow progress. I'm fine with that and ready to KOKO.

Brilliant results all. Cherry so glad you're in a better place. Well I started this bootcamp having dropped off the last thread due to a bereavement which I have found difficult to come to terms with. I gained weight but started this bootcamp not being willing to face how much I'd put on because I thought it would make me give up before I started so I did the shirt that was too small thing. Well the news on that is it still doesn't fit. However at the beginning it was tight/strained everywhere, now it's just gappage across the boobs. Disappointed as I'd hoped to wear it but it's a big improvement. Also wearing smaller trousers and bras. Yesterday I got on the scales, they are very wonky and unreliable, no batteries so ancient, but I was just one pound heavier than when I dropped of the thread last (my third) bootcamp. So I was happy with that. Today I'm up again but ignoring that. I've jumped on occasionally in the last six weeks or so. I guesstimate I have lost in the region of ten pounds during this bootcamp.
Thank you so much BIWI, you really are a life changer. And thanks Wombattoo and Stuntnun and the rest of you, you are all so inspiring.

Cheers Finally - alas it may not be so easy! It's a posh Indian restaurant so some courses will be ok but one of them is biryiani and 2 of the starters have carby elements incorporated in a way that will be difficult to pick out. But you're right, I can and should avoid the naan basket and I don't much care for Indian puds anyway so that's fine but sadly there's no cheese option

This has been interesting bootcamp for me, I have lost gained sts and finished on a whoosh.

Start weight 17st 10.5lbs
End weight 15st 12.5lbs

A loss of 26 lbs, a BMI which is now 'just' obese (34.8). I'm so pleased.
In total I have lost 6 st 1.25lbs and have 4 st 7.5 to go.
Every time I have a little wobble and think I may eat some cake I decide that losing weight is better - have stuck to the plan totally which amazes me!

Thanks to all the support on here and of course BIWI for running the bootcamp.

Well done to everyone who is still here, KOKO!

Ah, thanks L238, apologies for my ignorance, yes, I'm afraid that I (stupidly) assumed that Michelin stars must mean French-type cuisine Blush I can see biryani would be more tricksy. Hope it goes well for you..
