Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Setting this up early this week, as I have a stupid o'clock start tomorrow, and I know I'll forget!

Hope all has gone well this week.

We have three weeks left, so still time to see a significant loss on the scales.

Here's to a good week for us all

Poor you with your early start, especially since it will feel earlier I'm sure!

I'm marking my place for the new thread. DH ordered takeaway Indian food today so I don't have too high hopes for tomorrow's weigh in. Still... onward and downward!

I weighed this morning and I've put 1.5lbs in Sad I'm not taking that though because I was 5.5lbs lighter than that during the week so I'm going to weigh again tomorrow morning!

1lb off for me. It feels like much more though, like I've crossed a threshold of body size, or my shape has changed, or something. Feels like 3lb.

Good luck today everyone.

Hopefully it will be better for you tomorrow Hesdeadjiim xx Can't seem to work out how to bold peoples names yet!

I lost 2.5 pounds, so happy with that after only a tiny loss last week. Was spoilt yesterday, and was a bit naughty, I had 2 white wine and soda spritzers and a tiny shortbread heart my daughter had made for me but that was it. Did stick to the principles for everything else even though hubby had done a full roast with roast spuds, yorkies etc but resisted! We had family round so he wasn't trying to torment me, he is normally very supportive!

Well done Kleptronic and boatgirl
Chin up Hesdead, you know this is only a blip as you have been doing fantastically Flowers

1.8lbs off for me this week, which is much better than last weeks poor attempt - even though I'm not conscious of doing anything different. Bodies are funny things, aren't they?
I'm very pleased with that as I have now lost 24lbs since beginning of January and that means I am now 50% of the way to a healthy weight. WooHoo. Grin

Morning All,

Just a teensy loss for me this week, although yesterday I was up 2lbs so I was relieved as anything when I got on the scale this morning.

Its definitely getting a lot harder now the numbers don't seem to be shifting much, but one of the benefits of my superduper scales is that they give me other things to measure so I can see successes even if the weight numbers aren't moving much. So this week I found my body fat % had gone down to 31.7% - which is brilliant considering it was 42.6% at the beginning of January. I am definitely noticing the difference in my clothes too, which is making me very happy indeed.

Well done all for KOKO, even when the bad days keep getting in the way.

Woo hoo! Some great results here!

@Hesdeadjim - don't be downhearted - the scales do this just to keep us on our toes! I'm sure things are all going in the right direction for you

A little under 2lbs this week which is 10.5lbs in total in 4 weeks. (Late starter)

Am really quite happy with that. I have significantly upped my fat intake BIWI and don't feel quite so hungry between meals.

I wasn't deliberately keeping the fat down, but what I was putting in was so much higher than what I normally ate it just seemed like an awful lot.

About 2lbs loss this week, all in the right direction. Can see it from my face too!

Yesterday I booked a trip to Center parcs for the summer holiday. I want to do the high ropes and zip wire but max weight is 18st. I have set myself the challenge of losing 35lbs by then - 20 weeks so I will be 16st 12lbs which is comfortably under the limit! I think it should be doable as I'm aiming for about 2lbs a week loss.

Hesdeadjim · 27/03/2017 10:51

I think I'm going to stop looking at weekly weights. I have an app called happy scale which looks at trend rather than single numbers, I'm going to give that a try and see if it stops me feeling crappy about it!

Hesdead
I use an app called weight diary, which is very similar. I think if you are a daily weighed, like I am, it's useful to have something which shows you the trend. I like to see the green bar as I progress to target as well. Grin

Another pound off here which makes the stone for me. I'm really pleased as tbh i didn't have that much to lose, i just wanted to lose the baby weight before summer, which i have now done. Anything else i lose now is a bonus so i shall KOKO. Well done everyone for the losses

Hesdeadjim - hopefully StuntNun will come along later and share her graph with you - what you'll see is a very similar pattern, if I remember rightly - i.e. definite periods of 'stagnation' for want of a better word, followed by a jump downwards.

Please don't get downhearted, and don't start trying to do different things - you've proved that it's working well for you, so if you just keep the faith, and KOKO, it will work (even more!) for you.

Remember this is a marathon not a sprint!

.2lb down! I've been up and down, but mostly up, for a few weeks now. This seems to happen every 3-4 weeks... The last week I've been really bloated, fingers swollen in the morning. Possibly hormones? I'm hoping for a whoosh soon...

I went for the pre diabetes prevention assessment today. My HbA1c was 44 when I was referred and is now 42 - which is still in the pre-diabetes range , below 42 is normal. Great it has gone down but I would have expected a greater change. I was told to keep going with the diet and exercise and the program will be starting soon - 10 weeks of diet advice and chair based exercise (will be better off at the gym!). The best thing is I will be reviewed every 12 weeks and have all my measurements taking again. Also there was only 0.5lb difference between our scales so I know my weight is accurate!

Feeling a bit rubbish... 1lb on.

And my kitchen is out of action due to being refitted. No oven or hob, just a microwave, so i'm very restricted in what I can eat this week.

CaptainBraandPants · 27/03/2017 16:42

Hesdead Great chart - and you are nicely in the green.
ragz Sounds hormonal, I'm sure you'll get a whoosh soon.
ASD Going from 44 to 42 is really good. The HbA1c is a measure of the last 8-12 weeks, so it will take time to go down. Well done.

nightsky Flowers I guess there are only so many salads you can have. I'm sure it will be worth it in the end when you have a lovely new kitchen.

Yes, new kitchen will be fab!

Family planning to eat out this week... today we had late lunch at local garden centre (disaster for me)

Tomorrow it will be Meat Inc, which is good for me.

Wed I have my readers group dinner - again not good as its in a gastro pub.

Thursday - local pub.

Friday - curry takeaway.

Hopefully will have a working hob and oven by Sat.

Forgot to weigh this morning but I'm not expecting a change after overeating at a picnic yesterday and barely drinking any water all weekend (long car journeys so my usual 3L wasn't practical)

Congrats on all the losses everyone Flowers

Here's my graph. I shudder to remember how much I obsessed over my weigh-ins but looking at that trend I really didn't need to let them affect me so much.

Thanks Captain, was hoping I would be lower but am happy with it heading down. Just did a finger prick glucose and it's 5.0 ( had lunch 4+ hours ago - that's a good result). New thing to obsess over!

Night sky, hope your kitchen is completed soon - bet it will be great!
