Week 7 - Spring Low Carb Bootcamp - lucky 7 for some!

Here's the spreadsheet for your official reckoning

So we have four weeks left. A good push now and you could still lose at least 4lbs, if not half a stone.

Took the highest reading from my scales this am and have lost 1.5lbs since last week, -' happy with how it's going.

Just weighed.

Last week I gained 2.5lbs and was really upset about it..

This week I've dropped the 2.5lbs I gained, plus another 1.5 grin Total loss of 4lbs taking my overall loss on BC back up to 18lbs grin

Over the moon!

More than that, last night we went to a party where we all ordered pizza. Normally this would have been a definite cheat night, but I ordered (and enjoyed!) some roasted chicken wings (papa johns) instead of pizza and instead of going mad on drink, I had gin and tonic all night, didn't get drunk and I don't feel too guilty about it this morning! It's the first drink I've had since the start of BC so it will be interesting to see if it kicks me out of ketosis.

This week I'm going to stop tracking what I eat. I've done this for years and it's a safety blanket for sure, but I think it actually prevents me from understanding the hunger signals from my body on my own. I'm still keeping MyFitnessPal handy to check the carbs in things I'm not sure about but other than that, I'm flying solo.

Breakfasts this week are my new posh coffees from the food market with cream, lunches will be salads when I can get my act together and make them up! Haven't had time this morning so I'll probably have another coffee.

Also having a big push on the water this week, I didnt hit my drink target every day last week so I need to fix that blush

Ok, so I would have liked to have lost more, but it's a loss. In fact, I have lost everyone single Monday since the beginning of January which I'm really pleased about.

-1 this week and -10 in total for boot camp. Have swapped 30 day shred for Davina. She's annoying but it's quite nice to be doing something different.
Last week managed to rack up 7 days out of 7 exercise which included 2 runs, swimming, walking and HITT/stretch and tone. I'm determined to try and avoid loose skin and try and tone up whilst losing the weight.
Fat % still increasing though confused

Morning all - away from home a lot last week and now this with funeral arrangement stuff so fitting in largely with what suits the rest of the team ie pretty healthy eating but not low carb. Can't believe how knackered it's making me feel, so looking forward to bring back on properly at the end of the week. My body definitely prefers the LC WoE

Well done everyone, some good losses, only 3/4 of a pound for me but it is all going in the right direction so that is the main thing!

I am starting to up the exercise a bit now as well, really am worried about being left with a massive overhanging tummy. I had a C-section nearly 10 months ago but still have a section with no feeling at all, no pain which is obviously good but no sensation either, hoping toning it up will help. I have a rebounder which I jump on when baby is in the jumperoo and she loves it and we can both exercise together.

I've stayed the same this week but it was a tough week with my videoshoot for work so I'm not too worried about it. Onwards and downwards!

Another pound down here which I'm pleased about as I'm nearing my optimum weight and only another to go before I've lost the stone. AF her too so would love to see a loss next week as well. Well done for all the losses and KOKO, only 4 weeks to go!

I completely forgot to weigh this morning. Only remembered after a breakfast and several cups of coffee and plenty of water, so thought there's no point. I'll try to remember tomorrow.

The cake was very good! Very rich so easy to have a small slice. I checked the carb counts several times as it seemed too good to be true!

5lbs off this week, and 18.6 so far this bootcamp. I think AF might finally be over just after I booked an appointment with a nurse .I have had a horrible week with family drama and haven't eaten much at all, have not been to the gym once and I've had more than a fair bit of wine. i am pleased that I have managed to avoid falling back on junk food as a crutch, less pleased I've had a few cigarettes.

I'm hoping to push under my next milestone before the end of BC which is 2 more lbs, but my ideal goal would be to get to an overweight rather than obese weight which would mean dropping another 16lbs which isn't really feasible on BC so I'm aiming for end of May.

I have an LC lasagne in the oven with tomato less meat sauce as I ran out of tins, bechamel, ricotta, spinach, lots of mozzarella and courgette lasagne slices.

Week 3 for me and 1lb off which is a total of 8lbs. But more importantly a whole 4 inches off my tummy.

It's my birthday today and it has been the shittiest of shitty days so am actually quite proud of myself for staying completely on plan. I am not even going to have a glass of wine later as I don't know what detrimental effect it will have on my weight loss.

Am going to have an early night so this day is over with.

Oh well, onwards and upwards.

First day without food tracking is nearly over and it's been weird.

I've felt guilty all day and really sort of 'argh' about food. I've really really had to think about portions and whether or not I'm actually hungry whereas before if I thought I was a bit peckish, I'd check out MFP and if I had the calories I'd have something.

The guilt is weird though, I reach for my phone to track stuff before I eat it and eating without recording it makes me feel like I've cheated. I have to mentally say 'no it's fine, you're fine' every time confused

Well my bi-monthly drinking buddy meets-up and tells me the devastating news - he's moving to Australia this week for 4 years at least..... So chicken wings and water night turned in to chicken and bevies of the alcohol variety.
Definitely not worthy of a 29,000 calories increase of nearly 8lb of fat so probably retaining a little bit of liquid this morning. need to reset on an ultra low carb week.

Well, I have gained 1.2lbs this week. Totally deserved though as I did have 3 carb days (it was a weird week) and I fully expected to gain. Back to strictness this week, I need to plan lunches better as yesterday I just had cheese and peanut butter as I couldn't be bothered to Cook anything...
